All the credit to Dallas.
But with all due respect I think we all can agree the Lakers of this season is no where near the Lakers of last season.
Maybe it's fatigue or just a lack of motivation. As Phil's last stand shouldn't be enough? SMH.

Regardless we got what we deserved. Nothing to be ashamed about.
Dallas played well and I wish them the best of luck on their journey this season.

As for our current team I still believe in our core. That includes Pau as well. LoL.

Looking at the bright side these next 5 months off is something good for these Lakers .
They'll actually gonna get a solid rest this time around. Just like the Slava said, we don't need to rebuild we will RELOAD.
Oh yeah and in case any of yall forgot, we still got Dr. Jerry Buss as our Owner!

As most of you should now whenever the Lakers go down, they don't stay down for too long. YESSSUUUR!!!

I actually thought Haywood was more impressive as a defensive center. Bynum had his way with Chandler whenever he wanted.

I can already see the Dirk cannot win without Chandler threds popping up on the GB pretty soon.

I trust your family had a wonderful mother's day (except the game of course)

Today's NBA fans have indeed forgotten what was common place just 15 years ago for
Blazers fans ignore what Maurice Lucas did in the 77 finals would have gotten him
suspended for game 3, all of the hard fouls during the decade of the Laker/Celtics
and the bad boy Pistons. Today's players can't touch the small guys which will make
the the little guys like Kemba Walker (Connecticut) a lot of money in the 2011 draft.

I don't know what the Lakers could have done other than shut down the rest of the
Mavs and make Dirk score 45 points to beat them. I've written on the Blazer's board
that Steve Blake seems lost on the Lakers for I rarely saw him get the looks at the
basket that he got when he was in Portland and like a lot of guys, if they are not
scoring, they end up doing nothing. Perhaps the Laker's could have gone smaller
going to 3 guards but Pau seemed to be in a funk and nobody other than Kobe
seemed to playing with any urgency.

The Lakers have some important decisions to make. Guys like Rick Adelman are
out there if the team wants to make a clean break from Phil Jackson's time and
if there is an amnesty clause in the new CBA, perhaps the team should dump
Artest . The new coach has to decide whether the triangle best fits the
players currently on the roster but whoever replaces Phil will at least have
a more rested Kobe for he now will have time to get fully healthy after 3
hard years of playing over 100 games/ season. As long as Kobe is playing at an
all-star caliber level, LA will continue to compete for championships but this
year they ran into a team that is playing out of their minds that could win a
championship if their guys maintain their levels of play. Got to give the Mavs
their dues for they clearly outplayed the Blazers and Lakers to get to the
WCF.

Well Norm, I think the bottom fell out when we choked off Game 1. Them winning gave them all the confidence in the world. Not many teams have won in Staples at playoff time. In a 4 year period we only lost 4 games total, now this spring 3 games in just two series. IDK Norm, gonna be a long off season man. At a lost for words on what where we go from here. In a few weeks I think we'll be able to assess what we do. As far as all this "blow it up" crap.......that's BS, we just need some tweaks.

On Blake yeah man he's lost, the Triangle clouded his mind a bit. But I'll tell you where he lost it, don't know if you remember the game(1ST game vs Denver I think) where he scored 14 points in the first quarter. Anyway he was hot and the signs were there for weeks that he was about to blow up, well Phil being Phil pulled him out......Blake was never the same again. Then on top of getting the pox it just sapped what was left. I think next season he'll do better weather we run the Tri or not.

77 playoff games in 4 years Norm, we need a break. We'll be back count on it.
