Board Draft Consensus - Poll No.4

Post#1 » by doc.end » Mon May 9, 2011 4:56 pm

Next poll. This timeo nly 9 options - I want to add both Morris twins as options at the same time in one of next polls, so that's just a room for that.

Off the board:
Irving, Williams, Kanter

I might be a lunatic, but I go for Bismack Biyombo at #4. Really torn here between him and Valanciunas. Going with the chance he is like catching lightning in a bottle.

Jonas.

The fact that Biyombo didn't even show up on the national radar until a couple of months ago is cause enough for him to not go this high.

You know it's a really weak draft when you get to pick #4 and you have no idea who to go with!!

I'm going with Jonas because I think he can at least play the 5 spot.

I think this is a no brainer Kemba Walker pick. Bobcats need a superstar or at least an all star. Sure Biyombo might be the next Ben Wallace or something like that but there is a good chance he could be just another Diop. Kemba Walker has the biggest star potential after Irwing. This is a PG's league now and a guy with the speed and quickness of Kemba combined with his handle will be hard to stop without fouling. Look at the success the scoring PGs have in todays NBA. Sure Kemba is smaller than New age PGs but I still see him as a 20 Ppg scorer in the NBA. In my opinion he is at worst case a Brandon jennings type of player.

I forgot to wote before but for me Kemba is prospect no. 2 in my mind and a guy we should get even if we need to trade up to get him. We need stars to even compete for a home court in the first round of playoffs and superstars if we want to go all the way. Kemba has the potential to be both.

Put me down for 7.5 wing span after seeing some clips of Bismack there is no way he is the next Diop. He is way to quick.
