No, he really can't.

I love how non-Celtic fans look at Rondo's shooting and expect Delonte to improve the team, or at least do just as well.

Rondo is a 2-time All-Star who made the Defensive 1st Team.

Delonte played 18 MPG.

Rondo is lightning fast, a desperate need for a slow team. Delonte is slow for a PG. Rondo is one of the best passers in the world. Delonte doesn't even have enough PG skills to escape being labelled a combo guard.

The Celtics are still capable of winning a game with Delonte...but losing Rondo would be a MASSIVE setback. There's no other way to put it.

With that injury, I really think Rondo playing would hurt Celtics more than help. Heat will adjust and make him go left every time, give him even more room to shoot and foul him hard everytime he is near the basket.

They will leave Rondo and cheat off of him to help on others. I just hope Celtics are hot and somehow find a way to win.

Although, I love Rondo's toughness and he will give everything he's got. Much Props.

Still on this? I thought the TNT crew pretty much put that to bed.

Anyway, looks like Spo is considering the lineup change. Sad that it always takes some embarrassing loss followed by media scrutiny to enact change, but better late than never. I'd honestly prefer Damp and Magloire getting the start, but Joel starting would probably make the most sense. PEACE.

It's pathetic it's still a discussion even though it has been officially determined that it was not intentional nor dirty. Why is it official you ask? The league did not fine or suspend Wade for the situation, nor did they upgrade the foul to flagrant. You all can come up with any conspiracy theory out of your ass that Stern is trying to fix the series for ratings, the fact remains had he thought it was intentional from Wade, Wade wouldn't even play a game the remainder of the series seeing how Ron Artest got one game for slapping Barae's face.

The case is closed, now go to the nearest store and buy yourselves some pads.

I swear i dont know wat people be watching. Wade is standing under the basket when Ray just runs up and tries to box out. Wade holds his ground and Ray jumps for rebound and just flops over. Even the commentators said that there was nothing there.
I'm no dick rider aye!! But WADEis the toughest dude to guard in the league

Get used to it. The Heat are the enemy so people are just gonna say things like this.
“These guys have been criticized the last few years for not getting to where we’re going, but I’ve always said that the most important thing in sports is to keep trying. Let this be an example of what it means to say it’s never over.” - Jerry Sloan

ocker wrote:Even if Rodno doesnt play that well and/or have limited minutes, i still think the celtics will tie this series up. People underate Delonte West and if he plays starters minutes, brings a new dimension to add to the big 3 which is shooting. He was looking good out there whilst Rondo was fixing his elbow. Hopefully Rondo will be more affective when they head to Miami, cause they will need him to play amazing to get a win.

This.

Delonte is a helluva player, especially come post-season he steps his game up. He brings it on defense but also can shoot, drive, and create his own shot. He can also play heavy minutes, dude never gets tired.

He can't push and distribute like Rondo, but in the half-court it might help the C's.

Celtics are the dirtiest team in the league. They're pissed that Miami is not backing down. What goes around comes around. Peace.

I do not know what to expect from this game. The pressure however is on Boston this game. I expect the Heat to come out the gates strong, if Boston doesn't recover then they're in danger of losing this game and the series. I expect a grind it out game, and whoever wins will do so with less than 6 points.

Celtics win Game 4 and then go on to win the series in 6 games. Replay of last years series against Cleveland.

Please.

KG is the type of guy who tries to intimidate and he's far from likeable. But the Celtics are the farthest thing from a dirty team. For instance the Celtics have never and would never do something like what Bynum did last night.

I think if Bosh gets at LEAST 16/10 this game, Heat will win. Unless Wade and LeBron go like a combined 5/40. Bosh struggling really killed them last game

Heat blowout by the end of the third quarter as I go on twitter and read Bill Simmons criticizing the refs.

Well in before the random raptors fan says, "Go talk about your other sport somewhere else, this is for heat-celtics"

LA fan, a phins fan? Yea I go on that site, I go on both. Both are full of morons lol. Vertical limit I was just browsing and saw your name looked familiar. We can talk smack about either site, or just hope Clyde Gates is what ted ginn should have been. And we compete. This BOS-MIA series is for chad henne.. We can't beat them there, but we can here. GO HEAT!

Big time Phins fan. Thephins is not full of people that think Sparano is a good coach. We do like Ireland.
