"Kobe Bryant has been named to the league's All-Defensive First Team for the 9th time, tying Michael Jordan and Gary Payton for most all-time. Lakers teammates Ron Artest, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom also received votes."

lol... the GB must be blowing up.

Kobe didn't deserve to make any All-Defensive team this year (neither did Jordan or Payton late in their careers). Last year I thought he probably deserved 2nd team at best since the Lakers did actually have great perimeter defense, but this year our perimeter defense was absolutely horrid and he should have been left off completely.

Still, I can't believe they gave him votes.

As much as I love Kobe, he definitely didn't deserve this. Wade/Iggy/Tony Allen got robbed.

I agree that he didn't deserve this at all, but then again many players get awards that they don't actually deserve
