With the injuries and all, is it time yet to tank?

Seriously, very disappointed in the pitching staff not able to establish at least early dominance. Morrow, Romero both gave up good leads early. Cecil, well, he's chasing the floor show at the Sands. This looked like such a promising staff, even with the Marcum trade.

It's a bit early to manic about the rotation. Romero's peripherals are good (xFIP is the best of his career by half a run), and he'll be fine. Morrow had been excellent until tonight. Drabek and Cecil just need to calm the **** down; they both have the stuff to be good, but seem to be having mental midget moments.

Morrow was still pretty good tonight, despite that 4th inning (which really wasn't all that bad, nobody hit him hard). Barring injuries of some kind, I'm not worried about him, Romero, or Litsch at all.

u dont take the teams best pitcher (morrow) out in the 4th inning w the bases loaded and 2er, and leave the teams worst pitcher (reyes) in in the 8th.
