Hey guys just wanted to know what Deron Williams current injury status is...Will he be playing at the start of the season? How serious is the wrist? Is it something that needs surgery, or just rest? Has he already healed?
Would appreciate a reply on this, as I am part of a fantasy gm game on the board, and want to know if Deron would be safe to pick despite his injury...

He underwent surgery in mid-April and recovery was supposed to take 6-8 weeks (I'm guessing there will be some rehab after this but nothing major). He'll be ready for next season and I don't see the wrist being a long-term issue even though the Jazz severely mismanaged the injury.

Nothing serious, hell be playing at the start of the season fully healthy. What prolong it was that Jazz organization lied on D-Will's face that he doesn't need surgery. However, the Nets reevaluate him and told him he does need it.
