Memphis is looking very strong. I won't be surprised if they sneak into the finals.

OKC-Memphis Game 4 was epic. Got me to thinking... if we were in that position, with multiple OTs, how'd we do?

I was watching that game thinking it was going to a 4th overtime and thought,"Wonder what the Hawks would do in a situation like this??"...Anyway, that was an epic game 4.

I wonder how things would be if Gay was healthy right now. This series is very exciting and should continue to be. I hope it goes seven games so Dallas can rest it's old legs as long as possible.

While it would give them another scorer at times, I'm not sure of Gay as a defender and I'm not sure if he would take too many plays away from bigs underneath. I think they have good balance in the current lineup and Gay in the lineup might disrupt that.

You never know how a team will respond when running on empty like that. I like to think we'd find a way, but it would require Teague and Josh being a key because at that point jumpers don't fall very reliably.

The League levied 5 games without pay. In theory that's over 800K in lost wages.

I really think the Hawks should go after Hamed Haddadi. I called his name before the deadline this year in a deal for Mayo as well. Still would like for the Hawks to look into that for both. Not going to be a game changer, but he would probably be efficient. When he got minutes during the regular season, he produce about 10 points and close to 10 rebounds at times, drew fouls, and blocked shots in no more than 20 minutes. Game 3, In 6 minutes, against OKC he went to the line 6 times and made 5 of them. Game 4 he had 2 blocks in 3 minutes. I watched him in the WBC and looked really good despite being slow.

I hope Boston wins tonight so we can continue to have more basketball. Boston showed up tonight but at the half they only have a two point lead.

The Mavs wouldn't die. Let's see if they have anything for game 7.

So why didn't the Hawks wait and try to.....nevermind.

Sorry but I had to bring this up. The Clippers trade was potentially one of the dumbest moves in NBA history if Irving becomes a star and Dan Gilbert was apparently the only one smart enough to capitalize on it. The Cavs literally bought the top pick in the draft just for potentially adding a few million dollars to their payroll in a couple of years. Those are the advantages of having a smart/wealthy/aggressive owner.

Chicago vs. Miami should be really good tonight. Whomever gets the lead at this point could very well win the series. Miami is favored to win tonight by 4.5 points.

NBA Finals halftime and I'm already sick of the ESPN/ABC coverage with the woe is the Heat for all the media coverage and why I shouldn't hate them. You shove them down our throats all year and then pretend to be innocent in the matter. The only thing I dislike more than the Heat is the media that sucks up to the Heat.

I hope the series ends tonight.

I'm really sick of seeing Wade and James acting childish as hell, poking fun at Dirk, and the lack of professionalism. I guess I have too much old school in my bones and am getting old.

Has nothing to do with being old, just has to do with not being a total d-bag like the South Beach crew.

Ramon Sessions' agent may ask for a trade if the Cavs select Kyrie Irving in the draft. Read more: http://hoopshype.com/#ixzz1P7OkD2Q7

I'm curious to see what type of value Cleveland ends up getting for Sessions'.

DAL is embarrassing the NBA: 31 FTs for MIA to 12 for DAL, MIA is hacking and holding while touch fouls are being called almost every possession against DAL...

... and DAL is leading by 12 with 8:12 to go.

LeBron: "At the end of the day, all of the people that want to see me fail will wake up tomorrow and have the same life, the same problems."

What a tool.
