I was one of the most fortunate one to not seeing that live on tv because if I had, I'd probably cut my wrist or poke one of my balls or something. One of the worst picks in history god!

Dime: Heading into the NBA Draft, what players excite you? Who do you think would fit in with your current Raptors squad?
DD: It’s tough to say, but I like Kemba Walker’s game. I played against him in high school. Just the way he plays, I think he’ll make a major impact in the League using screen and rolls and being able to shoot and break down guards and everything. I like Kyrie Irving too, he’ll definitely be big. But I think there are just a handful of guys though.

Uh oh, DWill isn't on his top 2 list

exactly. Demar knows how lost a team is without pickroll monster. It's all pointless until we get one. Kemba is going to be amazing ido (in demar opinion)

Good to see DeMar has a good understanding of what we need in this draft.

After spending two years of watching Jose play, yeah it's no surprise Demar knows what we all need.

If we drop past 3 I wouldn't mind Kemba Walker, he proved a lot to me this year. I know a lot of people like Brandon Knight and that's fine but I'd personally prefer Kemba. He just seems to have that "it" factor. Some of the things he did this year could only be described as amazing.

Who else has the audacity to break a dudes ankles while hitting the game winning jumper in his face? This guy is rude, he's disrespectful, he's amazing!

Good news is both Kyrie and Kemba won't be too far from their homes, not that it'll matter much. Short flights to both Bronx, NY & Elizabeth, NJ. Plus, play NY & NJ 8 times a year. I think, if they had a choice as to which team they'd want to be drafted by (out of the teams in the lottery), Toronto might be at the top of their lists.

For those wondering, no, I do not have concerns about whoever we draft liking it here, but I'm bored, noticed that Kemba & Kyrie were east coast guys, and thought it'd be convenient for them to be drafted here. Heck, Charlie V and Rafer Alston both were New Yorkers who loved it here for the most part. I don't know about Mike James, but it's not like Toronto liked him either lol.

You can't get this kind of analysis anywhere else

Damn, that was sick! Man, I wouldn't be dissapointed if we picked Walker at 4th, I love the way how he's carried his team to the championship, aslo didn't realize he was number 1 in scoring and Number 2 in PER :o, I just see no fear in this guy and also has the will to carry his team, something maybe the raps having been lacking for a while.

Yea I think you could put his picture in the dictionary next to heart of a champion. If the dictionary published phrases of course.

The question is, and this is what most people's argument is for not drafting Kemba, do you think Walker will be better than the scoring PG we already have, Jerryd Bayless?

Bayless vs. Kemba. Bayless vs. Knight. What's it gonna be?

Colangelo loves them athletic PGs. I expect we'll pick one especially since next year's crop is pretty thin but is filled with SF/PFs.

Bayless and Knight remind me of one another. I'd take Kemba if we dropped to 4th or lower. He just seems like one of those scrappy little fighters you love on your team. Guys like Iverson, Lawson, Hardaway, Ford, etc.

He doesn't want to screw Sonny out of a job.

Nor does he want to add another wing option that would take his touches.

Nice to know that Demar's on the right side of the Kemba/Knight debate.

For anyone who needs a lotto fix…

^ I created an index of past draft lottery videos. It includes the ones that are available on YouTube.

One week until we (hopefully) reap the benefits of tanking. This time next week we’ll have a good idea of who the next Raptor will be!

yup. Demar knows what's up too, if BC is fired I hope demar takes over

Kemba's already shown enough moves, and the type of moves that work in the nba, that he's guaranteed to be one of those little un-guardable guys. Add in his shooting touch which is not just setshots and easy shots from what I can tell. It's natural touch, the type that'll allow him to take full advantage of his un-guardable-little-guy status, which tons of players can't. That almost guarantees he'll be a quality scorer

then his fancy show-off passes say he'll at least be a playmaker, if not a pg. And the experts all say he's shown pg ability in the past, ability to play a control-the-flow game. And even if he doesn't there are plenty of playmaker pgs in the league enjoying playoff runs and making allstar games

throw in his pick roll play, which he looks potentially devestating at, and he's got a chance to be a legit star imo (and ido too, let demar run this draft please. He can even draft lil romeo in the 2nd round don't care just get kemba)

I'm pretty sure that BC or Embry will take Walker. Safe choice. Position of need. NBA ready. They won't put much thought into it.

BC has been humiliated enough, he's not going to take a risk on a raw big (Valanciunas, Biyombo). I doubt he'd take a risk on Kanter, who he likely hasn't seen play. I'm sure Knight is too young and flawed to throw a top 3 pick at and give the pg reigns to. He's going to want to make the playoffs ASAP.

Keep in mind that BC hadn't even worked out Ed Davis but still drafted him. Nothing's set in stone.

Chad Ford said he loved what he saw of Kawhi Leonard, has worked a lot on his shot and according to Ford, if he keeps this up, "top 5".
