NFL Network: Top 100 Players of 2011

I don't know if many here are following this series on DTV, but this exclusive ranking is compiled by the "players" in the NFL...not fans or the media. The Packers lead all teams with 7 members of this elite group of performers.

While the list states top players of 2011, it appears that some players are considering achievements garnered prior to the 2011 season (see Donovan McNabb). Here are the names that have been published so far:

87. Jordan Gross (Panthers OL)
86. Josh Freeman
85. Jason Babin (Titans DE)
84. Josh Cribbs
83. Mike Williams (Bucs)
82. Lamarr Woodley
81. B.J. Raji....presented by Shaun O'Hara

Each player in this weekly series is presented by someone around the league that has insight into how good these players are. The highlight packages are included. O'Hara says that he'd never been beaten for a sack as clean as the one he gave up to B.J. Raji this season.

I think this is an interesting series. Tune in if you have the NFL Network. I'll update this list as the names are published.
