Being a Sixers fan, here's my breakdown of Iguodala's game.

He's one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. His athleticism and ability to finish on the fast break are among his greatest assets. However, his offensive game can be very frustrating to watch. If he's not getting to the rim, he usually settles for 20 foot rainbow jumpers. Even if he does get fouled getting to the rim, he's only a mediocre free throw shooter.

Who would the Sixers want in return? Well, Iguodala is overpaid and wants out of Philly so we will never get full value for him. I'm sure Cousins wouldn't be an option for the Kings. What the SIxers really need is a big man. I just don't see the Kings and Sixers making good trade partners again.

However, I'm actually pretty interested in getting Sammy Dalembert back. Although he can be very frustrating to watch and lackadaisical on offense sometimes, his help defense is strong. Of course, I wouldn't want him for anything near last year's salary of 12 million.

Here's an article I wrote on possibly going after Sammy this offseason.

Well, considering the Kings turned down a trade for Deron Williams at the deadline because the Jazz wanted Cousins, yeah, I'd say it's probably not an option.

Another thing about Dalembert, the Maloofs have pretty much made it the goal of the summer to re-sign both he and Thornton. It's pretty much the first thing they bring up in relation to summer moves.

I think it would be a mistake to skimp out on Donte Greene. He's been a inconsistent, but towards the end of the year I thought he was really coming on as a player. More than that, HE KNOWS HIS ROLE!! He never complained about playing time, he was always cheerful on the bench and it seems like ever since the fight between him and Cousins, they've gotten along pretty well. On the other hand, Casspi (who probably has more upside) complained about playing time and acting like he had some sort of right to starting while playing terrible defense and mediocre offense. We all can see the potential Casspi has, but I didn't like his comments about playing time. And on a young team that is struggling to find the leader they need, I think that kind of an attitude can be detrimental and contagious. Especially considering the attitude issues we know we have already with Cousins.

In regards to the draft, I'd like to see us get Derrick Williams like a couple people have already mentioned. I love Kyrie Irving and Brandon Knight, but I feel as far as needs go Williams fills a more critical area than Irving or Knight do. If Williams isn't available, however, I think Irving is our best bet followed closely by Knight.

The idea would be that Paul George would be seen as their SF of the future after a very encouraging rookie year.

The 2 players I'd most want to see added to the team next season are Tayshaun Prince and Lamar Odom. Both are well respected vets who bring championship experience, they bring defense and length to the forward spots, and scoring and playmaking on the offensive end. Resigning Thornton and Dalembert should be priorities as well. Im fine with using any combination of our pick, cap space, Casspi and Thompson to acquire Prince and Odom.

Cousins
Odom
Prince
Thornton
Tyreke

would be a beasty starting 5 with a solid bench as well.

I know you guys are going to call me crazy and rightfully so but what about signing Yao Ming? Yeah he doesn't have the best injury history but he would be a solid option off the bench and bring a decent wad of cash to the Kings from Mings' fans and so forth. And if he is able to stay healthy it would be a pretty good pickup. After that we pickup Affalo for cheap. Next if were lucky anough we get the first pick.

Evans - Beno
Thorton - Affalo
Williams - Garcia - Greene
Cousins - Thompson
Dalembert - Ming

Yao's done, man. He won't be able to stay healthy. Not a chance.

I don't know if he's totally done but I'm sure there a more than a few teams willing to take a risk on him for more money and with a starting position.

That team looks good to me.

How long after Odom leaves LA does Khloe file for divorce?

It's pretty sad. Outstanding center career ruined by injury. If he was willing to sign for the vet minumum I think it would be worth the chance....
