Kanter looked great. Tough. Great shooter. Skilled. Showed some leaping ability. In great shape. Feeling good about our Top 3 projection.

GRRRREEEEEEEAAAAAT!

Ok, I'm jumping back on the bandwagon.

Everyone seems to see the same things with this kid.

Has there been one negative scouting report on this guy in 2 years? If so I haven't see it.

But he's a "great shooter"! I thought we decided we didn't want a great shooter as our center?

Nice, liking those tweets. Pretty much validating what we've been seeing/reading. And I wouldn't take Leonard over Walker.

Oprah Winfrey has NBA playoff schedule changed

Oprah Winfrey has more power than commissioner David Stern. The queen of daytime talk has forced the NBA to change its upcoming playoff schedule. The MIAMI HERALD reports that should the Bulls and Heat win their series in six games or fewer, they’ll have to change the schedule because of Oprah.

The NBA informed a few involved parties before Tuesday’s Bulls game that if the Heat and Chicago win their series in six games or fewer, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals would need to be moved from Monday to Sunday night because the United Center likely is unavailable Monday to allow Oprah Winfrey’s crew to set up for the taping of one of her final shows. If the Heat or Bulls series go seven games, Game 1 of the Eastern finals would be Wednesday.

We don't and for the record I was on the Kanter bandwagon on here while most wanted JV, so don't give me that sheet.

nvm, I forgot TNT is covering the ECF. Oprah just changed the date of game 1 but that's still hilarious.

Do we need our yearly reminder that Chad Ford doesn't know much about scouting basketball players. He's just a conduit.

When talking to insiders I'd completely agree, he's not just conduit, he's a conduit for misdirection. But in this case he's actually watching the guy live and giving his impressions.

What did he say which was so complicated that a scout would need to confirm it? He didn't call him the second coming or anything. Just a quick analysis any sports fan could do, but enticing nonetheless.

That's what I mean. His impressions aren't worth much. Not that he couldn't be on the money here with Kanter and Leonard, but in the past he usually throws heaps of hype over every prospect he visits (probably why he's allowed to visit in the first place.)

No doubt, Ford isn't close to being a scout and I agree. All you can really take away is that Ford got a positive impression from watching.
