I think Marvin Williams can provide us with some decent underachievers. Something like Jordan Hill & Thabeet from Houston; Randy Foye & Ryan Gomes from LAC; Shannon Brown & GSW 2nd pick from LAL; Johnny Flynn, Martell Webster, & Anthony Randolph from Minny; Marco Belinelli(S&T) & Aaron Gray from NOH; Omri Casspi & Hassan Whiteside from Sacto; Bargnani & Alabi from Toronto. Maybe inlcuding a small filler from us if need be.

A move I would love to see the Hawks do, would be O.J Mayo & Hamed Haddadi for Zaza and a future first pick. Allows us to let Crawford walk for sure and keep the bench scoring he provided at a cheaper rate and actually upgrade on the defensive end.

Joel Pryzbilla & T Mac are 2 FA's I would like the Hawks to pursue.

If we do nothing entertaining in the off-season, then we might as well look forward to what we got this year.

I think Sund will try to make trades and fail. Then, I think he'll sell the still-growing Hawks to us. To a degree (too little) he'll be right. We're probably headed towards another 50-win season and tough 2nd round playoff series. With a little improvement and health, we could go to the East finals.

Joe should play better, once he's healed from surgery and without Jamal, who took some of Joe's shots.

Horford should heal and play better at PF, where Drew seems determined to play him.

Smith should continue to grow and hopefully become a star at SF, a position I never thought he could defend. He can physically dominate SFs.

Teague/Hinrich will blossom at PG with an extra year of learning the other players and the offense.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Jamal Crawford will receive at the very least $7 million per season. I think we what he provides us on the offensive end, but we need to acquire more size, and hopefully proven size that can produce. It's not going to be easy to accomplish it, but it can be done, and the only thing holding us back is our ownership.

I have to contend myself that we might be able to improve by actually playing Teague all year. As well as he played this series I think his defense lapses would smooth out with playing time. Furthermore, I see Kirk Hinrich as a much better fit as reserve combo guard than Jamal. Hinrich can play defense, keep the offense running, and still hit a few shots. He's not the one-on-one threat that Jamal is but it's offset by keeping the rest of the lineup engaged in the offense. In my eyes Damien and Pape Sy should be back as the remaining guards on the squad.

I agree. I like the idea of Hinrich taking on Crawford's role since we already have him. Teague has proven during the playoffs that he deserves to start and that he's most likely our future point for years to come. It's nice to feel confident about the 1 and not viewing it as a problem now. I also like the idea of Damien and Pape Sy remaining with the team.

Moving to the front court, I see no reason to trade Zaza because we realistically can't get any better production at the same price tag. Maybe the coach won't jerk him around all season next year and just use him as he is for what he is. I hopeful that Magnum Rolle can develop as a rotation C as well. As far as I'm concerned Jason Collins has a job if he wants it as long as Dwight Howard is in this conference. Hilton Armstrong might be back as well. Josh and Al hopefully continue to improve as they hone their games.

Zaza earns his paycheck during the playoffs since his time is normally limited during the regular season. He also plays bigger during meaningful games. My concerns with Sund and the ASG is if they intended on moving him for nothing at the trade deadline just to be rid of his contract.

I don't see a shake up next year. I see Drew finishing out his contract. I see improvement coming from Jeff Teague (a year later than I wanted him to get a chance), Joe Johnson regaining his shooting form (he never recovered fully from his elbow problems, I think he altered his release instead of getting fully healed) and remembering how to play without the ball in his hands every play on offense, Josh playing wiser not because of the criticism but rather for his own desire for success, and I'm counting on Al not being happy with his post-season and focusing on improving the areas he came up short on.

I feel positive about the future because of the elite teams in the West starting to regress. I also feel positive because of Teague, and as I previously mentioned, I feel our search for a 1 who can start has come to an end.

Josh Smith's value has increased due to his play during the postseason. If Sund explores trades, so be it, but I expect Josh Smith to be here next season, and mainly due to the lack of return value we'll receive for him.

We would absolutely have to be sure that we will resign Dwight though.

i don't need a guarantee that Dwight would resign or not. Dwight is from Atlanta, and i'm pretty sure that the 2012 NBA championship him and Josh would get would be enough to convince him to resign.

I'm not complaining, but I do want to what that Rollers guy can do. I think he is an effective energy guy with size & athletics.

"Jordan Hill & Thabeet from Houston"

I'd rather have Terrence Williams (backup SG/SF) and Thabeet but I like Thabeet's offensive rebounding and screen setting potential.
As is this this team will only go as far as Teague's creating for others and becoming a floor general. Wish we had Hinrich for the Bulls series "(

Terrence is a point forward that doesn't draw contact, and can't shoot. Something we don't need. Hill's energy, size, and athleticism seems for valuable to me as a back up. Josh goes out the game, we can at least count on somebody else to help block shots.
