According to the draft machine, our big board would be: Irving, Williams, Biyombo, (probably Kanter)

Biyombo is never picked ahead of us, so there isn't a scenario where we see the fourth guy on our big board.

I just played and got...

MIN
SAC
CLE
CLE

I'd love some CLE trade down scenarios. 1 for 3 + 4? 1 for 3 + 8? 1 for 4 + 8?

Take biyombo @ 3
Trade the extra pick for Iggy

biyombo/Darko
Love/Tolliver
Beasly/Randolph
Iggy/Wes
Rubio/Ridnour/Flynn

I honestly wouldn't do any of these.

If we really want Biyombo, we could probably work out a deal with someone in the 5-8 range using Rubio and the late 1sts (20 and 2012 Utah) while still keeping the better PG prospect.

I'd like it if we could get Biyombo and then use the extra pick for Ellis or Bogut. I'd never trade a pick for Iguodala though. Wes Johnson/Flynn/Darko, something like that is more than enough.

Why is Ellis worth a pick?

I'd rather have wes than anyone in the 4-10 range. If we have Biyombo I don't see much of a point to getting Bogut with Darko & Pek on the roster.

I'm not sold on Irving being any better than Rubio, or even other guards available in this draft Kemba & Knight. Shrug

Then explain this. How come every 10 shots he takes he misses 5 and a half?

I see two ways to approach the problem posed by the bolded part of the statement.

1. A jedi or samurai attacked the ball mid shot and it was cleft in twain.
2. The hoop is from Willy Wonka's office

Are we talking about Ellis or the guy he's defending?

Honestly, I think I'd feel safer picking Selby at 20 than picking Irving at 1.

a mid-ish lotto pick isn't that bad. In this scenario the Wolves would be trading the #1 and filler for Biyombo and Ellis basically. Wes or Beasley and change for Iguodala, (I'd prefer Beasley in that scenario I think) and gives the Wolves 2 backcourts I like a lot Ellis/Wes and Rubio/Ellis

Monta Ellis might be the most polarizing player in the NBA; there's stats that make him look like a total team cancer and stats that make him look like an all-nba player. He's the dreaded 6'2 SG. Seems kind of a dick sometimes too.

I still think he can give the Wolves a big lift though. The detriment of his shot-selection can be minimized somewhat by our offensive rebounding and Rubio should be able to get him better shots than Curry. On top of that I'd expect him to lose some of his sense of entitlement by getting moved to another team where he wasn't anointed The Guy - Love is the entrenched favorite local and Iguodala would be the veteran team leader.

The guy has a 30% usage rate, I don't think Curry is the problem.

But he doesn't get set up, that's my point. He creates his own offence, so swapping who's next to him won't change his chucking ways.

According to espn Malcom Lee is looking like another good UCLA prospect. And Josh Selby also looked really good and could take a leap up draft boards.

I've already called Malcom Lee to be a sleeper in this draft. And he is a good outside defender.

Durant just said Darko is one of best centers in the league. For once, I'm not being sarcastic in a tweet. #Twolves
