BoSox @ NY Yankees: Blood in the water or false trail?

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Fri May 13, 2011 6:34 pm

One way or another we'll find out something about the moxie of this Yankee team. You've read my concerns with the hitting going all the way back to ALCS vs Texas. It's more than JUST Jeter and Posada, there are 7 more guys I have concerns about.

By not taking two out if three vs. Royal, the Rays are right there with the Yankees. They'll have to go through the heart of the Red Sox rotation behind Colon, CC, and Freddy Garcia. Then face the Rays.

Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Too bad Teixiera and Arod didn't take themselves out of the lineup tonight along with Posada. They're both automatic outs. Hard to score when the No. 3. and No. 4 hitters in your lineup can't even manage a loud foul.
