No. We simply don't have enough worthless contracts to move for Jamison. He can no longer play SF, and he's not good enough to take minutes from Hansbrough for a year (or rather, he's not good enough to interest us in giving up some of Tyler's minutes for one year). $15 million for Jamison is an awful lot, even if we can dump Posey's $7.5 million in the deal.
$15m is a lot, but not completely unreasonable. Cleveland won't give up picks, so Stephenson + Posey for Jamison is not terrible. I actually think he could be a starter for 28-30 minutes, whilst still getting Hansbrough 25-30 minutes. It's only for one year, or until his expiring is packaged for something better. Cleveland lower their payroll and get a prospect.
If this is move happens this off-season, it's not the worst move ever.
