I'm going with Burks here because I think he is the BPA and someone who has a bag of tricks that addresses some of the things we lack.

Burks. Getting the 5th or 6th best player with the ninth pick is great value, regardless of positional issues with Hendo.

I believe that Jordan Hamilton will be available at our pick 19, it's too early to draft him here(though he's gonna be a good player)

Not sure he will last to #19. But if he gets to #15, I would try like heck to package #19 and our 2nd rounder to try to move up a few spots to get him at #15 or #16.

After making the case for Montie, I was given pause by everyone's comments here. He is still a sleeper talent, but his lack of rebounding and reportedly semi-passive approach to the game remind me of another euro-pee-on that we already have, and I do NOT want another one of those.

Burks is clearly on the Cat's radar, is a friend of the GM, and has a lot of talent. Being in Missouri (and watching Burks play several times) he really has the chance to be a special player. Problem is he has some funky issues with his shooting, and other issues that may be correctable. Still, with the selections here I'm between Burks and one of the Morris guys.

Burks.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

do you think Bassman that either of the Morris twins are available at 19? Markieff? he actually fits more with what we need.

I like both Morris players. Marcus goes just after the Bobcats first pick. Markieff is likely to be gone before #19, maybe around #15/#16. We could try to package out 2nd rounder with #19 to move up and get him, but I'd be more happy to do that if it netted us Hordan Hamilton around that area.

Burks for sure. I wonder who would start at SG though. Henderson or Burks?

If not for Hendo's injury i would go with Morris here.

Burks is a nice player, what concerns me is his inability to finish in traffic/congestion in the paint. He gets easily thrown off balance whenever there's contact made on his jumpers and he has this uncanny ability to throw up one of the ugliest jumpers i've seen everytime. He has a flat jumper which can easily be corrected and all these flaws can be ironed out over time.

Assests that can be added to his game:

-step back jumper
-crossover pull up jumper
-better body control when pulling up off dribble
-strength- has to add bulk/muscle mass to his frame

He's already an 83% FT shooter and he does have a nice stroke, he just needs to work and improve on his timing, form and release when pulling up off the dribble.

If he has the right inner drive, work ethic, character and focus there's no reason why he can't improve on these flaws.
