NBA Lottery Thread

Post#1 » by jeff1624 » Tue May 17, 2011 7:25 pm

I have nothing against Jazz fans and I generally wish them the very best.. but not tonight. If they win the lottery I'll start questioning the D-Will trade even though I'm ecstatic it happened.

Cavs with #1 pick:

Varejao
Hickson
-----
-----
Irving

I have no idea what players are slated to be a Cav next seaason. Nor do I care enough to go and look for a depth chart.

Kings with the #1 pick:

Cousins
Thompson
Evans
Thorton
Irving

Scary team, though I'd look to trade Evans. I personally don't like his game.

Wolves with #1 pick

Darko
Love
Beasley
Johnson
Irving or Rubio??

I have no idea what they would do. Obviously I'd rather have Irving but who knows with Kahn.

Meh...draft is pretty weak. The only way I'd really hate this if Deron doesn't extend.

Unless Favors + their pick become Dwight Howard + CP3 (Irving)

If the Jazz win the lottery with the Nets pick, I'll be jumping off of the GWB at midnight tonight. You are all welcome to join me, especially you, Vince.

For some reason I really don't like the collection of talent the Kings have so if they were to get the #1 pick I still wouldn't be too scared of them... That franchise is a mess.

The Cavs can really set themselves up for the future with this draft if they trade Varajao for a prospect/pick.

Irving
Burks (picked with the Clippers pick)
......
Hickson
Varajao trade

Shut up, Speedy...(yeah I would hate that too though. I'd probably go out of my mind and stab someone. Why am I typing my thoughts? Am I still typing?)

"If the Kings move into the Top 3, however, it's good news for the Nets. New Jersey will pick #35 instead of #36. Is Billy King going to be upset if the Jazz win the overall #1? Nope. "I'd much rather have D-Will."
