If we do draft Williams, I really hope that he's immediately traded for equivalent value. It's all well and good to want to pile up as much talent as possible and hope for the best, but eventually you have to actually build a working team if you want to win.

Fail.

Who is this "Williams" backing up the 2-spot? I hope it's not Derrick Williams.

That would indeed fail miserably.

I failed to realize that this roster has no SG outside of Wayne Ellington. Just like with WJ, we'll make Williams a SG.

We are rooting for a sad, sad organization.

I think it's more likely that they'd go for Biyombo.

I know in my heart of hearts I want to see Biyombo on the Wolves.

Next years duo of Ricky Rubio and Bismack Biyombo would be the epic definition of boom or bust

I think we have to go this route. Use the pick (+ something if necessary) for a Bogut/Bynum/Iggy level player.

That Bynum trade would also clear out the garbage, so to speak, and leave a bit of cap and assets for another trade for a SG. If I had my druthers though, I'd replace Pek with Darko.

I don't really think Bynum is available though...I think the Lakers will give their current team another shot.

I don't know if I'd want to trade it for any of those guys. Neither Bogut or Bynum is guaranteed to give you 50 games a season, much less the 70+ you'd need for the trade + their salary to be worth it, and I'd be willing to bet that Iggy could be had for much less.

I've seen some of your past trades that were posted while drunk, and I figured that the lottery might put you in a similar frame of mind.

completely agree, bynum has a massive ammount of value in the league, the 2nd pick in a weak draft?? not so much....i'd be open to trading it for james harden and nick collison

imo Bynum is the 3rd best center an Ellis is 3rd best sg.

Ray Allen only merited the #5 a few years ago which became Jeff Green. Bynum and Ellis both have huge contracts and either have major injury issues or can't really play defense. They're not worth the #2.

I couldnt see L.A. or Golden State doing it. why would they, but flynn, pek, webster and #2 for bynum might be appealing.

I think the Bogut rumors are going to be the big talk.

Bogut+10 for 2 and 20+ small piece?

Kanter seems like the pick. A true center. PnR type. Can play with Rubio. Can stretch the court.

If Williams is the "real deal" and Bogut continues to get hurt, this could backfire.

The value is fair though and take Burks at 10 if he's still there.
