I'm not really for trading Dala, but here's a list of some deals that I wouldn't mind from various teams if he's gonna go (some are better than others, though I'm not sure how realistic they would be):

LAL: Bynum
MEM: Gay
LAC: Minny 2012 pick + Gomes + Foye (more salary might be needed)
IND: Paul George, 15th pick, Posey (expiring)
UTH: Okur + 6th pick
MIL: Larry Sanders + 10th pick + Maggette (expires same time as EB)
CLE: TE + 8th pick
MIN: Wes + Darko
OKC: Harden, Aldrich, Nate-Rob (expiring)
SAC: 4th pick + filler
GSW: Udoh, Wright, Bell (expiring)

Some obviously look a lot better than others, though I'm not sure how realistic they'd be.

You started off great. I was excited, then very disappointed at the highlighted trades. The following is a sleeper trade

Like I said, some are clearly better than others... just not sure we'd actually get them offered to us. Some of these are if the situation becomes where he must go, particularly the Bucks deal.

People shouldn't sleep on Michael Redd as an unrestricted free agent acquisition for anyone. He will still be a great 3 point shooter and it appears that he is moving around well enough to play his game.

Memphis say they're not trading Gay. One of their wing players has to go though, they have too many. OJ looks like the odd man out. I would def be fine with an Iguodala trade for Mayo and someone.

Why would they prefer iggy over Mayo, when Mayo seems to be a better fit than Iggy (position wise)?

Another thing is that with a facilitator like Conley and a defensive stopper like Battier and Tony Allen, I don't think they need Iguodala. They might want him, but I don't think they might need him.

So, word on the street is that Cleveland is interested in Rudy Gay and might try to trade for him using the #4 pick + whatever. And since there was some earlier trade talk of a Rudy Gay-Iggy trade, how does this 3 way trade (including the Sixers) sound?

Philadelphia trades: Iggy
Philadelphia receives: #4 Overall + TPE from Cleveland

Memphis trades: Gay
Memphis receives: Iggy

Cleveland trades: #4 pick + TPE
Cleveland receives: Gay

Philly gets salary cap relief + a very good prospect (could be Biyombo, Kanter, Williams, one of the other Euro bigs). Now, I'm on the Biyombo bandwagon, like many other fans, and I think he'd be great for the Sixers. He could be an elite shotblocker and provide an interior defensive presence and his only role on offense would be putpacks, lobs, and dunks. Not to mention, Brand would be a great teacher to him and could help him develop further offensively.

Memphis would be getting another elite perimeter defender and a great playmaker. Their starting lineup could be one of the best next season in the west with Iggy, Battier, and Allen locking down all the star wing players (Kobe, Durant) and (if they keep Gasol) would have one of the best frontcourts in the West.

Cleveland does the trade to get the guy they want and work with a core of Irving, Gay, and Hickson. Not to mention that Gay > any prospect at #4

76ers Draft 2011 Who are they gonna Pick?

Post#591 » by Ryan87 » Wed May 18, 2011 2:34 am

Hey everybody do you think the 76ers will trade there pick to get into the top 10 spot. I hope they can make a deal with the cavs for the 4th pick or someone in the top 10 they need to!

so..remove gay...and make it an Iguodala to Cle for 4 deal.

Gay may be a better scorer...but i think Iguodala is the better player.

absolutely would love that 4 pick, I was actually stoked at hearing they had the 1 and 4 pick, because i believe they were one of the teams targeting Iggy. But again this is not a trade thread. If we do move up to four somehow though, im hoping for Kanter to fall out of the top three so we can snag him. would love to have ANY form of a low post banger on this team to complement EB. If we stay at 16 i have no idea. Probably end up with one of them Morris twins or Faried. Wouldnt mind moving up to take a chance on Biyombo either, hear he has good potential on D. I truly believe we use Iggy to move up in the draft though, draft is where we need to find our big.

If we stay at our pick then i want Faried, unless somebody drops. I would trade Iggy for the 4 pick but not if Kanter is gone or if we would have to include our 16 pick.

I wouldnt let the 16th overall pick be the deal breaker in a potential deal for a top 5 pick

76ers trades: Andre Iguodala + 16th Overall Pick (Jimmer Fredette)

Kings Trades: Francisco Garcia + 7th Overall pick (Bismack Biyombo)

Why for the 76ers: We get a slight cap relief. We also acquired Francisco Garcia. He replaces whatever hole that Iggy left in this team. With an improved ET next season, Garcia's slashing ability and perimeter shooting would make him a good fit playing along side ET. And more importantly, we got Bismack Biyombo to give us an intimidating force in the middle.

PG: Jrue
SG: ET
SF: Garcia
PF: EB42
C: Bismack

Why for the Kings: With their frontcourt already solid (JT-Daly-DC), Iguodala would fit well with Udrih and Tyreke Evans. Iguodala would give them, arguably a top 7 talent in this year's weak draft. They also acquired Jimmer who should be an instant offense scorer off the bench.

PG: Udrih
SG: Reke
SF: Iggy
PF: Thompson
C: Cousins
