someone offered Wes Johnson + #20 for #5 on the trade board (MIN fan) would anyone else here do that deal? Id do it from a Toronto perspective. Id like it more with Flynn added.

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

It would completely depend on who is available at #5, and I would probably want something else coming back.

You think Khan would be interested in Kevin Martin for the #2? You guys need a SG and he is a top scorer.

imo Bynum is the 3rd best center an Ellis is 3rd best sg.

Ray Allen only merited the #5 a few years ago which became Jeff Green. Bynum and Ellis both have huge contracts and either have major injury issues or can't really play defense. They're not worth the #2.

Bynum is a top center with a post game. Those are rare. The #1 pick in the draft wouldn't be enough for him. You may be right on Ellis, but it all depends on how weak GM's feel this draft is.

If Kevin Love is dealt for whatever reason, I'd target the Wiz as a trading partner. The #6 (if Biyombo/Kanter are available) and Javale McGee would be a good start to negotiations.

McGee/#6 - Biyombo
#2 - Derrick Williams/A. Randolph
Beasley/Wes Johnson
Wes Johnson/Webster
Rubio/Ridnour

The only player on the Wizards I'd trade Love for is Wall.

He's never had leg injuries. Upper back 2008 and snapped in half arm in 2010 have been his two big injuries.

Wolves have got to take Williams with the #2 and find a way to draft Kanter or Biyombo.

Beasley to any of the mid-lotto teams that may desire his services.

Biyombo / Love / Williams / Wes / Rubio
Randolph / Webster / Ridnour / Flynn

Taking and keeping those two would be my worst case scenario.

Not much Love for Williams here i see. Whats not to like about him? reminds me of like a mixture of Beasley and Griffin.

Ricky ain't going to play a ton of minutes right away and Jimmer off the bench would be an immediate spark for our second unit offense. Plus he's clutch and a guy that can make the shot at the end of the game. I'd rather have The Jimmer backing up Ricky than Luke. It doesn't matter though b/c he won't be there at pick 20 anyway.

Nolan Smith should be there around pick 20 and I like him so we could go that way too. Not much else looks appealing that late in the draft, Justin Holiday maybe.

Valanciunas will end up as the best player of this class. Mark my words.

#2 for #4/Varejao

something to think about:
D-Will > Varejao
D-Will > BB

trading quality for quantity is a risky move IMO.

#2, Pek, Darko for Bogut

best trade so far but I'm still not sold.

Overall, I think we got really lucky with the way things worked out. We need to be careful not to over think this. Derrick Williams is going to be a very, very good player in the NBA. Probably better than anyone we could get in a trade. Why not keep the best player? The guy is NBA ready. He can help us now. I think he can excel at SF. Plus, I really like the idea of Williams and Love playing off each other.

Either we trade SuperCool or let him come off the bench as a 6th man (which is something that's been talked about before.)

As for the center position I like Devilz idea. Throw some big bucks at Gasol/Jordan or take a flyer on Oden, Yao, Daly or Nene. We could also try to trade for Varejao or even Biyombo some other way. Plus there is still the chance Pekovic could develop into a solid starting center. Dallas and OKC have shown there are ways to be competitive without having a big time two-way center like Mr Bogut.

Then once we get a center we could look at making the Iggy trade (Wes/Flynn/Darko.)

Rubio
Iggy
D-Will
Love
FA Center

w/ Beas, Webster, AR4, Peks, Luke, Wayne, Lazar & pick #20 off the bench.

Why would the Sixers trade the most instrumental player in them being a playoff team for 3 guys that are proven scrubs? Sorry, the numerous draft busts currently on your roster do not become more palpable because you combine them together. Does the smell of manure get any less intense in larger quantities? No... Those guys couldn't help the Timberwolves win or any other NBA franchise they played with so no need to go spreading their stench around to the Sixers.

#2 for Iggy or go home...

Probably not, but outside of Aldride is there anything you'd accept for either Love OR the number 2 from Portland?
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.
