JaZZ trade #3 and #12 for the 1st Pick to take IRVING?

Post#1 » by Hoops Addict » Wed May 18, 2011 1:44 am

What do you think?

Jazz offer 3 and 12 for the 1st pick.....to take IRVING?

You like?

That seems fair for both teams.

Jazz maybe do it.
Cleveland maybe also.

LMAO. #1 gives you the choice between two outstanding players, #3 is a gamble.

How about #3, #12, and the GS pick?

i think the 3 and 12 could get you the #2 pick. Irving is wearing a Cavs uniform next season

Cavs already have the 4th pick. I think they want the elite guy at 1 more.

I would do #3, Harris and #12 + a future protected 1st to make this work. But I highly doubt Cleveland would even listen to any offers. They've been the #1 team associated with Irving since early in the draft process, even during the season, and I would have a hard time seeing them let him get by them.

All that said, we're at least in striking distance and Cleveland is so devoid of talent right now that they might be interested in looking at volume.

Heh. Lets see what happens in the combine and workouts before we decide for sure.

As a Jazz fan I completely agree with this. Also I still think B-Knight and Irving are similar players and one of them is going to be available at #3.

i'd really temper my excitement for irving. i have reservations about him being the #1 pick even and we don't know who will stand out in workouts. it is looking like a possibility that kanter might make a huge leap.

Now that the word is out that Irving said no to Lebron's marketing company, there is practically zero chance Cleveland doesn't take him.

yeah, I kinda agree with the Cleveland poster. Time for everyone to STFU about drafting Irving. He's a lock to go to Cleveland.

I mean we can dream, but, I think that door is about closed at this point. Oh, and having Baron and Sessions is NO REASON to not take Irving.

Irving is gone. Lets face it. Time to move on to who goes #2.

For the record, I agree with the STFU part, just not the GTFO part, cuz I kinda like talking Jazz basketball with you guys here.

It's just that a "STFU and GTFO" in tandem is funnier than a solo "STFU"

I'd happily take Williams if he fell to us at 4 (BPA and all that), but PF is the one spit we have a young keeper (Hickson)
