Kanter's stock will drop a LOT with that news. I dont want him anyways.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Kanter is scaring off already-skeptical teams with his unwillingness to work out competitively for any team.

Wow...if he refuses to work out for any team besides 1 on 0's, I definitely do not want this guy. BC needs to make the most educated decision. Without seeing him against competition makes him more of a mystery.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!

I can't see BC taking him without seeing him in action competitively.

Biyombo and Kanter are refusing to work out. So we re going to have to rely on Maurizio to help us out. That pick will most likely be an international player.

Biyombo is working out in the European combine, I thought.

Trade the pick for minnoesoetas pick next year or something. I think we have a good shot at getting Kabongo.

Kanter DO NOT WANT. He's the next bust in this draft. He would rather play against a chair than a live bball player.

Biyombo isn't refusing to work out, he simply isn't here. He's going to be available for measurements and workouts at the Adidas Eurocamp in June (like Motiejunas/Vesely/Valanciunas etc.)

I think Id just take Kawhi Leonard/Biyombo this year and ride with Bayless at PG... then next year's draft aim for Kabongo

Lol...Wolves is very high on him but realistically they should take DWill. Not sure about the Jazz though, they have too many big men but for sure the cavs won't pass on Kanter at 4th spot.

Right, Givony hasn't provided any proof that he refuses to workout with any team (He hasn't provided any source or quote to prove otherwise) We do know that Kanter will be at the Combine and Workouts so it's not like he's shying away from competition.

What we do know is the fact the Givony for some reason hates Kanter and will do whatever reason to bad mouth him, also I wonder who's Kanter's free agent is and is his agent giving him the proper advice?

Givony obviously heard something from the GMs.... Seriously, why do you keep thinking that he's making all these comments up? And if it's actually true that Kanter's unwilling to participate in competitive workouts, he IS shying away from competition.

Kanter refusing to work out vs competition that he should be dominating (according to his fanboys). What toughness and passion, def. the type of player we need.

Givony does seem to have an ax to grind with Kanter, but I agree, he's not just going to invent this stuff.

Though the blame should fall with Kanter's agent, not the player himself. Still, if they're trying to hide something, it's not encouraging.

To clarify my view, I don't think this would be a problem had he played basketball competitively over the last year or so. But, since he hasn't, there's just not enough footage on him to get a read on him. That's why GMs probably would like him to workout in something other than 1-on-0s. Some GMs might not care though, and take him regardless.

If I was Kanter 1 on 1's would be the way to go. He would dominate like our boy hoffa did. If anything kahn(Babcock still there?) might take him at 2

Kemba and Knight don't do anything Bayless can't. All 3 have poor court vision, are good at creating their own shot but don't have explosiveness to really put teams in trouble.

Unless were getting a sure fire dynamic point guard, we shouldn't burn a pick on one. That leaves Biyombo, Kanter, Jonas, Vesely. Jonas looks like he needs 3-5 years to develop and Kanter has a bunch of ? marks. Don't know much about Vesely or Biyombo so this draft is a mystery to me.

I think Givony has taken it out of context, the last we heard was this:

Kanter's advisors want to wait and see what happens with the draft lottery. They only want Kanter to work out for teams that are drafting in the top 5-7 range, but more importantly they want to be selective of which teams Kanter works out for so that they can find teams that would be an ideal fit.

http://thehoopsreport.com/article.aspx?id=710

So it's not like he's not going to workout, but be selective as per the advice from his advisors.

^ That article was from April, though, and didn't say anything about competitive workouts. Givony was at the draft lottery yesterday interviewing GMs, Colangelo and Kahn included.

I'm intrigued by Kanter too but it seems like you're just hearing what you want to hear. If Givony is reporting that teams are frustrated by the fact that Kanter is avoiding competitive workouts, I believe him.

I don't think he would put his credibility on the line because of some vague personal vendetta against Enes Kanter.
