Okay i'm done you just have a poor understanding of the game. Harden plays more than Sefolosha...
Atlanta has Crawford, and had Bibby for 56 games... They win with defense not two backcourt guys that can't shoot. Memphis is winning with their bigs the have Conley, Gay, Mayo... Philly isn't successful.

Yea, you're right.

I read somewhere that DeMar likes Kemba and knows him from AAU is that true can anyone substantiate this?

If true I am even more on board with drafting Kemba we need more guys that know each other and like to play together. Build the family and the rest will work itself out.

Dime: Heading into the NBA Draft, what players excite you? Who do you think would fit in with your current Raptors squad?
DD: It’s tough to say, but I like Kemba Walker’s game. I played against him in high school. Just the way he plays, I think he’ll make a major impact in the League using screen and rolls and being able to shoot and break down guards and everything. I like Kyrie Irving too, he’ll definitely be big. But I think there are just a handful of guys though.

DeMar was asked in a recent interview whom he thought the Raptors should draft, and he said he liked Kemba Walker (also likes Irving).

And he tweeted a while back that Walker was the best player in college basketball, IIRC.

DX on who the Raptors might take and list of prospects that they'll look hard at
#5- Toronto Raptors

Will Consider: Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, Bismack Biyombo, Enes Kanter

While the Raptors did fall two spots to the 3rd overall pick, they should still be able to come away with one of the coveted guard prospects—Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker, due to the fact that Cleveland and Minnesota surely will look in a different direction after picking Irving and Williams 1-2.

Drafting a floor general is surely the next step in Toronto's rebuilding process, especially when evaluating the alternatives that are on the board. When it's all said and done, Toronto may end up with the same player at #5 that they would have taken at #3, just at a lower slot on the rookie salary scale.

That makes it sound like this piece was influenced by BC.

Wow I thought so! He clearly understands Kemba's game and what he can add to this team. Do their games mesh well in your opinion?

That's pretty high praise if he's available it will be interesting to see what Bryan does. Same question how do you think Kemba's game meshes with DeMar's? I would agree that outside of Kyrie Kemba looks like the best bet in PnR scenarios. He would be lethal really.

I do think they would mesh. DeMar isn't someone who needs the ball in his hands to be effective like a Tyreke Evans or Brandon Roy. He needs a point guard who runs the offense and can set him up for jumpers or to pass to him while he's slashing to the basket. Plus Kemba would be amazing with Ed or Amir in the pick and roll.

I know BC went to scout him a couple times this year already and came away liking what he saw. I really think his speed, shotmaking ability, fearlessness and leadership are the attributes that will make him a really good selection at 5 the question is will he be available there?

Too many signs point to Kemba being that guy we walk away with and I think his age is an asset not a hindrance, he will mesh well with our core.

Said they already have days scheduled for prospect workouts.

He also mentioned the word raw, which immediately made me think Biyombo.

Ya I'm really rooting for Kemba to be the guy we pick. I don't understand why people think he's a chucker. Look at who he had as teammates for crying out loud. Jim Calhoun knew it and made him the focal point of the offense. I'll take Walker over Knight who looks like a Lou Williams clone.

Another thing that seems to be lost on people is winning mentality! and Ice veins. Kemba strikes me as a guy who is all about winning, those are the types of players you want to build around.

Well im sold, if the Raptors keep the #5 Pick, Kemba Walker or die trying. The only thing im concerned about is his height, 6 Feet with Shoes is supposedly very generous.

I think both him and Knight compliment DD's game and our BIGs.

It would then just be a matter of finding him PT with Bayless/Jose/Barbosa. Someone would need to be the odd man out. Likely Barbosa would draw the most interest given his abilities and contract status.

The way I see it is Brandon Knight is the better prospect and Kemba Walker is the better player. It reminds me of the debate between Harden, the better player and DeRozan, the better prospect. At our pick right now, if both of them are available, you go with the better player not the better prospect. Just think of it like back in the 2009 draft, if we had a top three pick, we would have went with Harden. Our team is already filled with developing prospects like DeMar, Ed and Bayless. We need someone that can contribute right away with them not wait on to catch up to them.

The biggest thing swaying this draft is if the jazz will take Kanter. If the Jazz take Kanter at three, I think it becomes the most likely scenario that the Cavs pick Derrick Williams number 1 and then take Knight at 4. If the Jazz pick a pg, then the cavs will likely draft Irving and Kanter.

Very hard to predict who will be available at our pick. I trust whomever BC selects although I hope it is not a point guard.

The thing is that im going for Walker, I just am almost certain that the Jazz will take Knight over Walker. They love their PGs with size and is more methodical.

When he said 'raw', I associated that more with Valanciunas than Biyombo.
