Vesely is the guy who I think Colangelo might take, if not a guard.

I was afraid that he was just 5'10.5 without shoes, and roughly 6'0'' with them. But, he's pretty much 6'0'', give or take, without shoes.

Ya I was concerned that he'd be under 6 feet with shoes. Seems like when you're under 6 feet, people just call you 6 feet.

I was also under the impression that Kemba was 5'10 to 6'0 with shoes. The fact that he's pretty much 6 feet without shoes is pretty huge news. He's a little bigger than expected and that should probably put some of the size concerns to rest.

Quick question... do you guys feel that Avery Bradley is a better prospect compared to Knight/Walker? If so, is there any possibility of entertaining our 5th for Avery?

Then Knight or Kanter drops to us. Hooray!

I'd like to see how his wingspan measures out. He looks like he has little dwarf arms. I know it's not as important in the backcourt, but Wade and Rondo illustrate how long arms can really help a guard.

not even close. Bradley is more of a defensive, scoring bench guard, he's not much of a PG at all. Sure, you could try starting him and maybe he ends up spectacular like Westbrook, but I doubt it. You definitely wouldn't need to give up our lotto pick to get him by any means, if anything you might be able to grab him with the TPE or Alabi.

Maybe. He gets a lot of steals and is a really good rebounder. I don't think his arm length really hinders him in any way.

Few players ever skip athletic testing; even LeBron James, Cleveland's last no-brainer No. 1 pick, participated. Top prospects do skip the drill portion of the combine with some regularity, and Irving won't be alone on the sidelines for that, as Ford has reported Arizona forward Derrick Williams, UConn guard Kemba Walker and Kentucky guard Brandon Knight are among those passing on an opportunity to do the drills.

WTF.

First we have these guys refusing to work out against opponents, & now guys are refusing to do the athletic testing?

WTF.

It's not really a "WTF" situation, there were plenty more prospects than that who actually decided to skip the drills. They're not skipping the athletic testing or measurements, just the drills, which don't really tell NBA teams anything anyway.

From yesterday:

chadfordinsider Chad Ford
Now hearing Alec Burks also pulling out of predraft drills. Enes Kanter and Kawhi Leonard also considering skipping drills.

chadfordinsider Chad Ford
Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams, Brandon Knight, Kemba Walker, Tristan Thompson all skipping drills portion of pre-draft camp tomorrow.

Kanter did ultimately decide to take part in drills, Ford said.
