What a class act Romero and Arencibia are!! I'm so glad we have both on this team.

Without looking it up though, aren't the jays one of, if not the worst team record wise in interleague play over it's duration, or something like that?

Fourth-worst in the AL, but probably close to the top in differential between AL play and interleague. But Houston is really turrible, and it's at home; I'm not only calling a series win, I'm calling Jo-Jo's first win in whenever.

Something has to give. I'm not sure I would ever bet on JoJo's ability to hold a lead against anybody, though.

I'm betting on a 6-2 lead going into the sixth, with Jo-Jo giving up two more runs and putting a guy on base before he's pulled and the real pitchers come in.

Same, actually. But as my team is in dead last by a mile thanks to Hanley Ramirez + brilliant trade for Longoria that became less brilliant when he got injured the day after + Morneau and several other failures, I don't much mind.

+1

liked how Romero honored Ryley James Martin by carving his initials in the pitcher's mound, truly a class act!

I didn't catch this, but what's the story with him in this hat?

And, of course, the Red Sox simply win anyway because it's Fenway and they're the Red Sox. Thanks for nothing, Bard.

His little league team was called the Blue Jays so they wore Jays hats.
