Turkey's Enes Kanter measured out well. 6' 9.75" in socks and 6' 11.25" in shoes with a good 7' 1.5" wing and a 9' 1.5" standing reach

Derrick Williams was 6' 7.25" in socks and 6' 8.75" in shoes. He had a 7' 1.25" wingspan and a 9' 0" standing reach.

Got measurements from the draft combine. Kyrie Irving was 6' 1.75" in socks and 6' 3.5" in shoes with a 6' 4" wingspan. But 10.3 body fat

Kanter's measurements are pretty decent.

God, my hope keeps fading that Kanter will be available at 5. At least I know I had a good read on his measurements.

I'm not overly impressed with his measurements. Not to say he can't be good..just not that impressed.

Marshon Brooks.... 6'5 guard with a 7'1 wingspan. WOW. He's very talented too.

Now we can finally put his measurements to rest, pretty much where we predicted him to be. Man if Kanter would've skipped the workouts like the rest (Irving, Walker and Lheonard) we may have had a chance to pick him up but now I highly doubt it.

Well, I don't think anyone thought he'd have above average measurements, the concern was that he might have some low measurements that might have been a liability.

Right now his size is comparable to Bogut/Noah and that's perfect for a skilled big man.

From what's been reported today, I'd say Kanter goes before #5, as well as two point guards (Irving and one of Knight or Brandon). So that will leave one point guard and Williams. So our choice will be between Williams and Brandon/Walker. Williams falling to #5? Not impossible. It's really hard to forecast. Andy Katz is tweeting that Irving is NOT a done deal at #1. Actually, he's saying the Cavs are seriously considering other options. That could be Kanter or Williams. If it's not Williams, I'm not sure a team trades up to #2 to get Williams. His measurements are going to discourage teams picking him as a PF. You have to believe in him as a SF, pure and simple.

I can see Williams falling to 3 -- maybe even 4 if Utah really wants Knight/Walker -- but I can't see him getting past the Cavs at 4, unless you believe they'd draft the likes of Valanciunas/Vesely over Williams.

Pretty crazy to think that CLE could potentially walk out of the draft w/ both Irving and Williams.

Anything can happen, but the question is, who would rise his stock?

Love Kawhi Leonard's measurements for a SF!

@chadfordinsider
Kawhi Leonard had a huge 7' 3" wingspan and the biggest hands of anyone at the camp. But just 6' 7" in shoes.

I like his potential, but if SF is what we're hoping to improve, I'd rather try and trade the pick (selecting Walker/Knight) to Portland for Batum. Nic's 6'8", with a 7'4" wingspan... and has better shooting and ballhandling ability to go with his defense. A trade like this wouldn't have been possible before (Portland turned down #4 for Batum last year), but since the acquisition of Gerald Wallace, this might actually be doable since they're still looking for that PG.

I like Batum, would also probably offer number 5 for Gallo....perfect fit IMO with Bargs gone

No way am I adding sweetener to end up with Kanter at the end of this craptastic season. Take Walker and run and if he's gone, BPA. Forget trading up to get someone if it'll cost some of our precious few assets.

If the Jazz are really high on Knight or Walker and Cleveland has already picked up Irving and we are high on Kanter. It really won't take much to do a draft pick swap on draft night. Maybe future 2nd round draft pick and cash. If Utah gets the guy they want plus can save money they will do it. According to most scouts the players in the 3-6 range can basically all be interchangeable so you shouldn't have to give up too much.

we have to get the 2nd or 3rd if we want a shot at kanter, I see Cleveland making out like bandits.
