You're right. I fear Harris isn't a big enough positive with his contract. Too bad OKC doesn't have any bad contracts we could clear for them with Memo. Plus, we have draft picks, but OKC doesn't really need young, unproven talent (unless they want to stay in that phase of their build model).
But OKC won't be able to resign everyone next summer. They have a lot of free agents: Westbrook, Harden (team option), Aldrich (TO), Maynor (TO), Mullens (TO), Ibaka (TO), Ivey. Maybe they can convince those guys to stay on their team option salary for another year, but they risk alienating them that way. They'll want to extend them. If they let Westbrook go, they could have room to bring back Ibaka and Harden. Harris might mess up their cap space.
