Scott Brooks stuck with Eric Maynor for the entire 4th quarter in OKC's win tonight.

I really think this is a major reason why OKC won tonight. Westbrook really needs to learn to reel himself in and defer to KD. He is a freak athlete and is improving his shot though.

OKC could use Kanter. I think Westbrook is legit, and his value seems low right now. Too many complications to make it happen, but I would like this.

You're right. I fear Harris isn't a big enough positive with his contract. Too bad OKC doesn't have any bad contracts we could clear for them with Memo. Plus, we have draft picks, but OKC doesn't really need young, unproven talent (unless they want to stay in that phase of their build model).

But OKC won't be able to resign everyone next summer. They have a lot of free agents: Westbrook, Harden (team option), Aldrich (TO), Maynor (TO), Mullens (TO), Ibaka (TO), Ivey. Maybe they can convince those guys to stay on their team option salary for another year, but they risk alienating them that way. They'll want to extend them. If they let Westbrook go, they could have room to bring back Ibaka and Harden. Harris might mess up their cap space.
