But just because he's on the floor with Fish and Blake doesn't mean they don't share duties in the Triangle's form of PG.
Brown dribbles with the ball, distributes and brings the ball up the court quite a bit.
And I thought when he came here he did an interview where he indicated Mitch and Phil wanted him to become more of a 'PG'???
Do we watch the same games? Brown overdribbles with the ball, he hardly distributes coz he thinks he's the second coming of Michael Jordan, and he doesn't know how to bring the ball up unless it's on a fast break, IF he gets lucky and keeps his head up. He has no handles and will never be a PG. He's nothing more than a highlight reel type of player, and that even comes once in a while now. Mitch and Phil wanted him to be more of a PG when neither Fisher nor Farmar were getting the job done three seasons ago. Except he still didn't prove he was capable of handling the ball even with his freakishly huge catcher mitts he calls 'hands'. His IQ is lower than this cup of ice I'm holding in my hand right now.
Make him go away.
Those were exactly the points I was trying to make in that, when he tries to be a PG type player, he absolutely sucks at it...
I want him gone too but he is athletic and we don't have much of that, so my question was, do you think if we regulated him to purely a spot-up shooter (way) off the bench, could there still be a place for him?
I mean, everyone hates Luke because he's about as athletic as his father... Now...
He has all the BBIQ in the world, though... But you can't teach hops... So can you save a dumb-athletic guy?
My knee jerk reaction to this season is to dump everyone but Kobe, Pau, LO and Bynum... But that isn't practical...
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...
