Buss would never agree to pay such costs despite his increased revenue. Chinese girls are asking for more lately to hang with the man.

Arenas
Davis
Lewis

I would go for Davis

only Lewis, I dont like Davis attitude, if he got cut and still got paid he might just get even more lazy. Arenas is DONE....I would like to add Rip actually if he is AC'd....would be a great backup to Kobe, his game is perfect for the motion offense and isn't a ball dominant type.

several things wrong with this.

1. cant trade players, then waive them. they have to be on your team. first amnesty didnt allow this, not sure why this one would allow it this time
2. why would we want another overpaid, non productive player? u can bet no team is going to trade away a decent player just to waive luke walton

If the Lakers traded Walton, Blake, and DC to Denver for Felton and Harrington (just hypothetical) Denver would save over 10 million dollar by waiving Walton over Harrington. Harrington has 2 more yrs on his contract at over 5 mill per. Not saying any team would be willing to do it or the NBA would allow it but if they did maybe teams that are making more money my be ableto take advantage of teams looking more at their bottom line.

Denver would not be able to waive Walton.
