Big, friggin' whoop. I'm slicing my wrists

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that no role player carries a team to the playoffs. You are undervaluing Iguodala's ability.

just drop it now while you can.

We've seen the height of Iguodala Island's ability.

I likes.

But as a role player.

A trade involving Iguodala for Utahs third pick.

Very interesting. Mehmut Okur and No. 3 for Iguodala, Meeks and the rights to Hawes. Basically a three for 1 for the No. 3 pick and Okur's expiring deal. The Sixers lose quite a bit of salary and if Kanter is on the board, you get your guy. If Okur is healthy (not), it's a steal. The downside is I have no clue who plays SG after this. I can't believe the plan is a Jrue/Evan/Thad/Brand/Kanter lineup. A lot more size though.

I think I like this, especially on payroll flexibility, but that is a lot.

26.0 minutes per game this season and still averaged 13 and 5

per 36 minutes he was at 17.6ppg and still is unpolished. Young is capable of being an efficient 20 ppg scorer.

Oh boy...the forum's Barkley is here :-?

So we have a player on our bench that can efficiently put up 20 a game on a playoff squad.

Golly. I must've missed the tape of such talent.

I'm not positive but I don't believe RFAs can be signed-and-traded in multi-player deals.

If you think that Andre Iguodala is not a "GREAT" on ball defender then you good sir are an idiot.

Brand was this teams MVP. Iggy wasn't.

I completely agree Brand was THE guy. I am a huge Andre fan but I do think it is time for us to move on. Although I definitely feel that most people here really undervalue what he brings to this team. He has the skills to average 20 6 and 6. For whatever reason he hasn't perfected his jump shot. (probably to much arch) I hope we get some kind of value for him. The problem is it seems like the player we may get for him is a guy like Ellis, who needs the ball, even more then Andre. Which will hurt ET's chances of progressing as a player once again.

at the very least when Iggy is traded, then we would have a new scape goat..

I'll say it will be....Jrue.

It's actually already started, when Iggy gets moved it will get bigger.

i agree with u Knux... and its true.

no matter who is on the team...someone will be the whipping boy for us fans. mainly because we tend to overvalue and/or overrate our own players and set unreasonable goals for them.

If Iguodala's gone... I think Jrue or Evan will take his role. If Turner doesnt start showing glimpses of 2nd year Roy or Jrue doesnt improve by the 10 game mark, people will likely start calling for their heads to be moved next.

If Thad gets a contract that is any higher that the min, it'll be him as well.

Jrue and Turner are lucky enough to still be on their rookie deals. Thad will all of a sudden be overpayed....then the piranhas will come out.

So there's a report the Cavs offered the 4th overall pick for Rudy Gay.

If the Cavs offered that to us for Iguodala, you taking it....say Kanter is still on the board. Worth the risk?

According to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, the Cavaliers reportedly offered the fourth overall pick in exchange for small forward Rudy Gay.

See, we should get on the horn and offer Iguodala and our 16th if that's what it takes. The Cavs are in perfect position to absorb Iguodala's contract without us taking anything back. And we could get Kanter or Vala with that pick.

I'd take that without Kanter on the board. Take Vesely or that Valsadilkdiksnjdkis guy...

The comments with the report also suggest it would probably take more than just the pick for Gay. I think he has higher value compared to Iguodala, but it can't be that much higher, right? Maybe we can pry a future pick from them in the deal too.
