Looks like the Joe Johnson/Boris Diaw trade cost these idiots more than their #1 investor, it has cost them at least one of their teams already.
Continuing to call it a Joe Johnson/Boris Diaw trade is giving them value on the trade.
The real trade was Joe Johnson/Cap room, with other pieces added, and if you name these pieces, it's Diaw, but it's also the pick of Robin Lopez, and mainly the pick of Rajon Rondo (who could have improve the team enough to not get the pick of Lopez but a lower pick).
I'm not calling it the "Johnson/Diaw trade" implying those were the only assets involved. I'm definitely not using the term to imply the Spirit ("them"?) got the best "value" of the trade. I used it to reference how what WAS an offer to Joe Johnson that many, including Belkin, felt would not be matched, turned into a sign and trade for Johnson, led to the infighting amongst owners, which led to the court case, the remaining members of the Atlanta Spirit losing $ hand over fist without Belkin's $ in the mix, has now led to them losing a professional team outright.
