For You Old-Timers

I've always wanted to know: how was Pat Riley in the broadcasting booth? I know it was only for a couple years and 30+ years ago, but I love to hear him talk about basketball, used to get to hear him once a year when I was a season ticket holder at pretty small events and it was awesome. Especially hearing that Mark Jackson is getting looked at for the GS job...did he sound all that great back then? Any indication that he'd be an excellent coach down the line?

He wasn't in the booth long enough to really get great at it. But when you're working with the legendary Chick Hearn it was going to be easy, Chick wouldn't let him look bad. But he was smooth and could deliver what was happening very well.
