HEAT.. Where clutch happens.
Its funny how all year we've been bashed for not being able to close out a game and tonight I think the Heat finally showed all the spectators and haters how good we can be down the stretch.
Bosh = Clutch
Lebron= Clutch
Wade= Clutch
Bosh = Clutch
Lebron= Clutch
Wade= Clutch

Not to nit pick, but Lebron did commit an offensive foul near the end of regulation. That would've been game and Bulls win if Rose hadn't just missed a FT.

Yea your right, fortunately we were able to take it to OT where my man D wade scored some big buckets and played top-notch defense.

Should give the credit to Wade's defensive play on Rose.

Guys it is more to clutch than hitting a last second shot! The defense of the heat down the stretch especially on Rose and closing out on the shooters is clutch. Mike Miller was clutch and Lebron 13/13 in free throws great defense and two big drives down the stretch!

Thankfully it all came together for them at the most crucial point of this playoff run.
And if Clutch doesn't exist, then we certainly did well presenting the illusion of what Clutch would perhaps appear to be.

Very clutch by all three of them. It's nice to see that in one game. Especially that overtime.
P.S People on RealGM really needs to learn the difference between your, and you're. It's getting little ridiculous.

I think "clutch" exists, the only problem is in how people lump everything into that category. Some players are better than others in pressure situations, some are better at pacing themselves than others, some are better at reading the other team throughout the course of a game than others, etc.
As for players shooting better in the clutch (or having a "hot hand"), people often shoot better when they've had a chance to loosen up. How that interacts with the above-mentioned issues (focus, stamina, picking up on how the other team has been playing you) leads to some players having more of a tendency to be clutch than others. It's only pointless to talk about as if it's a constant state of being, when clutch is a measure of what you do and how you've played.

the players who are good, are good in pressure situations.
looking at a 1 or 2 situation sample size is poor analysis.

Re: HEAT.. Where clutch happens.
Throughout the season, the Media's interpretation of "Clutch" has been used as a tool to bash this Heat team for not being able to close out tight games. However, when we began going on winning streaks they ignored our solid work down the stretch and began limiting "Clutch" to whatever instances they felt would help manufacture a stigma against the Heat.
They said we couldn't score in the last 5 minutes.
The last 2 minutes.
The last 24 seconds.
The last FGA.
Now we're being told that the team has finally learned how to execute, despite the fact that we may not be doing it by their definition (Winning by 5 pts. or less). C'mon now, I've seen about 70+ of the regular season games and realize that even though there was some truth to the team's inability to close out certain games, the whole "Un-Clutch" thing was blown wildly out of proportion.

Re: HEAT.. Where clutch happens.
I love that they are coming through at the end, but to also piggy back on the nitpicking
LeBron has turned the ball over twice which gave the other team the last shot opportunity. LUCKILY, he defended both Pierce and Rose and forced them to miss, sending the games into overtime. But I just hope he doesn't do that anymore.
If he does and it's Dirk shooting... I don't think Heat will be that lucky next time, assuming Heat make it to the finals (lol).
