Interesting.

Seriously?! What's this based on??

His scouting ability? I don't know sh*t lol

I have nothing against Biyombo, but it's remarks like this that makes me think he's such a fanboy

^^ because Evans isn't a good defender, or a C for that matter.

Interior defense is a real need, and probably our biggest need as a team (with perimeter defense being a close second).

AKA Kanter/Val to help at Center or Knight/Kemba at guard or even Leonard at SF (last choice of the bunch).

Evans is a rebound vacuum and he is the 'glue guy'. I'm not sure why we would cut him just to gamble on Biyombo.

Drafting a player with perhaps the most defensive potential in this draft is not filling a real need? Reggie's not a shot blocker nor a good defender at either big position.

Or maybe trade Bargnani for a serviceable big ie Dalembert,Kaman. I'm sure Barg's value can net us someone of that range.

Givony acknowledges that he's higher on Biyombo that most NBA guys, but that DX had a headstart on him though.

Exactly. Dalembert/Chandler or someone like that would be nice......but otherwise, Evans and Davis are rebound hounds and Amir's no slouch either.

If Bargnani could get even 6-7rpg with his minutes, we would have been a much better overall rebounding team!

I don't believe BC would turn down Kanter, or Val, who would be a great excuse for us to tank again next year if he's still in Europe. I'm guessing that both will go top 5 this year, but if we get the choice that would be amazing.

I'm calling the top-5 as Player X, Irving, DWill and those two bigs.

My only real concern now that Kanter measured out OK is BC deciding who Player X is. I obviously want somebody else to make that call and leave a big or DWill, assuming Kyrie goes #1... but who could qualify as Player X, for a top-4 pick?

Knight seems the most likely, to Utah or Cleveland if they happen to go with DWill at #1. Don't think anybody touches Kemba. Maybe Bismack or Leonard, but they seem like stretches... but then calling Kahn a GM is a stretch. I love the Kahn wildcard, he might save us.

If Biyombo or Kawhi Leonard seems like our man, I think we should just look to trade our fifth pick for the 9th and 19th from the Bobcats.

They can select someone like Kanter or Valanciunas to fill to their hole at centre.

We get one of Biyombo or Leonard with the 9th pick and with the 19th go after Darius Morris or Josh Selby.

I hope we can then buy a late first round pick or second rounder and draft Nikola Vucevic or Corey Joseph, though my preference is to pick up Vucevic.

I think a young team like

Bayless/Calderon/Morris
Derozan/Barbosa/Morris
J. Johnson/Leonard/Kleiza
Davis/A. Johnson/Kleiza
Biyombo/Vucevic/A. Johnson

makes us very exciting, athletic, and much better defensively. Of course, I think we would need to flip Bargnani somewhere. I wouldn't mind the Cavs using their TPE on him for a 2012 first round pick.

Sick dunk by Val at the end there! wow.

The folks on here have just been hating on the euros but the reality is this might be the strongest class of international players yet. None of these guys are in the 'Bargnani mold'.

at this stage ill be very happy if we select Kanter.

Still enthused if we select Knight or Biyombo.

Meh about Walker (who will be pretty good as a rookie but imo has less upside than the others), Vesely or JonasV (who'll probably stay overseas).

Think I prefer Val out of all the centers. Didn't really open up to him at first because I was blinded by my bias against European big men, but he looks nothing like Bargnani. I have a feeling if Val is around at 5, B.C will take him.

Vesely but he said that he still has no real clue what BC will do.

Personnally I start to warm up a lot toward Valanciunas...

I'm not sure if it's the crappy aspect ratio on that video, but he's looking thicker at least.

I like how the first highlight was literally a free-throw. And yeah, that didn't impress me at all. Don't see how anyone would rate him over Kanter or even Biyombo.

It looks like Val is great on the offensive glass. Gotta love that in a big man.
