i really hope chandler doesn't decide to to play for germany instead.

i like the adu inclusion, and i really wish davies would have been healthy/chosen

Although we're relatively thin at the wing back positions I don't think Chandler has a chance to make it. at right wing we've got Lahm and Beck who'll be nominated over him for years to come.

Najar has chosen Honduras. Too bad.

No surprise there, watching his press conference was painful

Yes, he is eligible for both, but honestly, he should play for the US. We are insanely stacked at the wingback position.

Just wondering from people who probably have more knowledge of US soccer. Who would you guys call the "future" of US soccer. Is there anyone in the younger groups who will be say the next dempsey or donovan.

In other words, are there any young'ns who will make a serious impact by the 2014 WC?

to those posting about how these players should stay in the MLS, i totally agree. Some of these guys go over there and get 0 PT, whereas they could play in their country and get full pt, and exposure. If they can pull off a loan, like donovan, and get full PT, on a good club, then go for it. Too many times US talent is wasted overseas.

Fantastic. We don't have the talent to play the way he wants to play, super conservative and uncreative. He also doesn't understand how to develop players nor does he understand who should and shouldn't start. He was coddling Kljestan for years, praying he'd be the next big thing. Turns out he's just an average mid...**** I could've told you that. He should've been developing players like Robbie Rogers who already had real football talent.

Adu/Bedoya really shined in our last tourney and before that Agudelo was lone of our best players for months. Bradley didn't really play any of them because sometimes it just looks like he's praying for the draw. Also that 4-3-3 we ran was stupid as ****. Our two best players, Clint/Landon, were playing up top...meaning we had nobody providing service from midfield. With a team as thin as ours you can't just throw all our best players up top and hope for the best.

Anyways, I wonder who will be the replacement? Any ideas?

edit: 1 last thing, it would always piss me off how Bradley would take Altidore out at the 70-75th minute every damn game. We don't have ANY strikers and you want to sub out the only one we have? There was one match where he scored a screamer, think it was the Mexico one, and was easily one of our best players on the pitch. Bradley said F it and subbed Young Jozy out...good call.

Juan is gonna be a monster. He played timid in our last tourney but he's probably our most technically skilled player behind Dempsey and perhaps Adu. And he's a striker! Thank god!

There's the constant rumor of Jurgen Klinsmann.

With all the ridiculous hype Sigi Schmid gets as "one of the greatest coaches in the world" during MLS broadcasts, I figure he'll be in consideration for the job.

They should've hired Jurgen when they hired Bradley in 06.

Yes. 5 years too late.

Jurgen has real European experience and knows the US system very well considering he's been living in Southern Cal for the last 10 years. Hopefully he can overhaul our upside down youth system.

US only hired Bradley after Klinsmann said no. Klinsmann is a control freak, he always wanted immense control and power over the entire national team and it seems like Gulati is finally giving him what he wants
