I'm not a podiatrist, but what's "below his right foot"? I thought that would be the floor.

Does Booker have some invisible appendage? Maybe that explains the athleticism.

Never thought I'd see the day that there would be an article talking about LeQueen not getting enough foul calls....

And I love this line from "Heat Have Adjusted To Being Most Hated Team In America"
But for the most part the routine goes like it did Friday night in Minneapolis. There were boos during warm-ups and for the first few minutes. But after awhile, the fans forgot about it and became enraptured by the Heat’s overall star power.

I think it's the ESPN journalists that are enraptured. Failing to notice the many LeBJ bun boys in Heat jerseys at the start of the game, the author's actually stating that the Heat's spectacular play turns haters into lovers in the span of one game. You can actually get paid to mix corn syrup with spit.

Lol. That's almost as bad as the homer Heat journalist who characterized Z slamming his elbows into Wall's visage twice as, Z "appeared" to elbow Wall "at least once." By appeared, do you mean because humans are blessed with the gift of sight, he "appeared" to be hitting Wall to every single iris witnessing it? Or is it more of a Zen question -- like just because a stadium full of people see something, does that make it real? And by "at least once," do you mean twice? Blatantly? On his best day, Bill O'Reilly couldn't spin like Heat homers can.

One look at the Milwaukee's record and lineup, and you know they mean business. Bucks come to Miami, and with Wade injured, the Heat have what? Certainly no answer for John Salmons. The Heat better hope they don't face the Bucks in the playoffs.

John Salmons.. you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him.. j/k

I couldn't see the Heat getting past the 2nd round without Wade. I think they would have a shot missing Bosh or even LeWhine.

Fortunately for the Heat, the Bucks are eliminated from the play-offs. It looks like it will be the Heat-Knicks(in the first round) which I think will be a good series.

last night was a good night for right thinking Americans.

First the Heat lose with LeTravel throwing up some fugly
looking desperation shots at the end. Then the Lakers follow
suit. Other than Kobe, I'm not sure why I've come to dislike
the Lakers the way I have. I used to really like them in the
days of Kareem-Magic-Worthy.

lebron's mom was skunk drunk and assaulted the valet when "it took long" to get her car. bailed out by Miami Heat exec, and charged with Assault/Battery. She previously had a DUI charge in 2006, in Akron. i guess ladouche isn't as ladouchey as he could have been, given the circumstances of his nature/nurture.

Yep, I won't even joke about that. No telling what Lebron had to deal with over the years.

I don't understand why the league doesn't start to fine guys for flopping.

This is the problem with how people react to Lebron. Everything is blown out of proportion. Ridiculous to call that "Greatest Flop of All Time." It was a good flop and everything, but that probably wouldn't make Ginobili's top 10.

And this which happened during Rose's missed free throw (which along with his missed freebie in game 4 made me have flashbacks to Memphis' championship game :nonono: )....

...dont know whether to add it to reasons to hate the Heat or simply laugh.

I don't know, it used to be that floppers like Ginobili would exaggerate contact but in these playoffs we're seeing a new low - flopping when you were literally not even touched such as Harden's flop on Chandler and this Lebron flop.

When guys are on the road there are literally thousands of people behind the basket waving crap. That little towel made no difference.

Shoulda used green on that post. Stuff does get bigger with Lebron, though -- in part because he's the best player in the game (and has been for years now). When he's doing a Ginobili-esque flop, the whole flopping thing has gone too far.

As for "best" flops, I've seen Manu hurled backwards by the incredible force of an opponent's forearm only to see in replay that he was never touched.

For me, I hate flopping -- seems like cheating. I'd love to see the league start fining and suspending players for doing it.
