Luck?

Anybody else feel that Jim decided not to get a right-now starting quaterback, so that he could go after his QB Andrew Luck next year?

Among the things wrong with that idea........

- They drafted a QB in the 2nd round of the draft
- when the guy in round 2 was drafted, they guys covering the draft said that it seemed that Harbaugh wasn't waiting for Luck because of that pick (granted they're analysts but still)
- Because of the lockout, there hasn't been a free agency period yet
- Troy Smith (former Raven) did as good as anyone at QB for SF last season without the benefit of a training camp or years of experience with the roster, if he got a full training camp in, he could be the answer

I think we need to give up on Luck. The worst team next year isgoing to get him. I hope there is some big conspiracy but I doubt it. The only way we get Luck is if we are the worst team this year.

Or he fakes an injury the whole year, he gives terrible interviews/workouts (on purpose) and then Niners take him.

I think he would just need to fake being really bad. People might still trust him if he has an injury.
