Kings / Nuggets for Al Harrington
What kind of package would work to get Harrington from Denver? Any interest in a package built around Garcia his contract is very similar to Harrington's but 1 year shorter. Also is a good insurance policy if you lose Smith as Garcia plays great D and can hit the 3. FG is a great locker room presence unlike Smith. IDK im fishing in the dark...

Honestly it wouldn't take much to get harrington from us, but a swap for francisco garcia is not what i would call a smart move. It would leave us with a a hole at the pf position. I would probably demand whiteside from the kings and give you guys our 2nd rounder. That would make this a little more of a viable trade for us. Thoughts?

First, thanks for a great response. I don't think the Kings would part ways with Whiteside at this time since he hasn't actually played yet, they think he has a ton of potential. My initial thoughts were
Garcia
Greene (6'11 230lbs)
If you dont know anything about Greene he is a great kid. He is 2 inches taller than Harrington. Natural position is SF but can play PF and create a mismatch to the likes of Harrington using his speed and shooting. He is a project but it looks like the light turned on last year (just turned 23). ????

Yeah, i would really consider that trade. It almost looks like robbery, we would probably have to throw in something else into that trade. Also Can Donte play the pf position? I watch the kings play very often but usually see him on the outside shooting. Is that just his role there or is there more to his game.

He can depending on the match-up. He is actually a decent weak side shot blocker when playing PF. His specialty at this time in his career is Defense for sure.

Well ive tried to sell kings fans on the idea of bringing in felton into the the team. but i haven't had any luck. j.r smith is a movable piece in a s&t, but i wouldn't trade either of those guys for garcia and greene. Not really alot we have to offer to the kings, besides a pg and some role players.

Re: Kings / Nuggets for Al Harrington
Kings need role players. PG, SG, PF, C are set for next year. SF is still unclear. Kings need quality role players like Harrington off the bench and leadership. Felton, Smith im really not interested in either, the price of those players would take too much.

Harrington's contract is actually a year less than Garcia since his final 2 years are unguaranteed.

Can anyone completely confirm that the last 2 years of that deal are not fully guaranteed? I seem to still find conflicting stories on that.
If a new CBA institutes an amnesty clause, I would guess that the Nuggets use it on Al to dump his contract from the salary cap if they can't find a way to move Al to take him off of the books. But If the Nuggets can move him for some value, all the better.

Both SI and sham sports have it as 50% guaranteed.

the final two seasons of Harrington’s deal are only 50 percent guaranteed as things stand now.

Wilson Chandler
How's it goin? Magic fan that just moved to Denver a couple months ago...loving it so far (hell of a lot better than Orlando...or anywhere in Florida for that matter. But I guess that could change come winter time)
Wilson Chandler is a player that I have been intrigued with for a long time. I think he could be a big step in the right direction for the Magic this summer. From my standpoint, I see him getting offers larger than the MLE...making him out of reach for the Magic via signing him to an offer sheet.
My questions are...
1. Up to what cost would you expect management to retain Wilson Chandler?
2. What is the most you could see a team offering him?
3. What would it take from Orlando to complete a S&T??
From my point of view, I would think we have some pieces that would interest you guys. Clearly...there is a ton on your plate in Free Agency this year AND next. You have all four wings (Chandler/Smith/Afflalo/Gallinari) as free agents between this summer and next. I can't imagine all would stay and of those, I can see Chandler & Smith getting away (clearly Smith a bit easier). You also have Nene & K-Mart entering FA this summer.
Would you all be interested in guys like JJ Redick, Brandon Bass, Ryan Anderson, Earl Clark, Daniel Orton, or Quentin Richardson?

Re: Wilson Chandler
Maybe something like Anderson, Turkoglu, Bass for Chandler (S&T), Bird, Harrington
Makes our lineup:
Nene / Mozgov
Bass / Anderson
Gallinari / Hedo
Afflalo / JR
Lawson / Felton

Re: Wilson Chandler
I'll give you a three way trade with GS to consider in return....I'm sure you'll hate me for it LOL
Denver gives up Nene/Chandler/Mozgov, pick #22
Denver gets Dwight Howard, Ekpe Uhoh
GS gives up Monta, Udoh
GS gets Nene
Orlando gives up Dwight
Orlando gets Mozgov, Chandler, Monta, #22.
Denver resigns Kmart and all it's FA's. Lawson/Afflalo/Gallinari/Udoh/Dwight. A whole lot of defense and team ball. Sucks losing Nene but welcome to Denver, Dwight. You've already got a fan there haha...

Obviously I was looking for a Dwight trade...and that is just about one of the worst offers I've seen. Make is Nene+Afflalo+Chandler+2012 Unprotected 1st and we could start talking.

I bet you would, turkeypoo's contract sucks. I would rather resign Chandler at 8 million per, then take on poo's 11 million per.

Get him to agree to sign an extension to play in Denver and I would probably do that trade. The Nuggets could then turn around and flip Felton and Andersen/Mozgov for Odom and Blake or some other combination with another team to help fill out the roster.
Dwight/Koufos/Mozgov or Andersen.
Odom/Harrington
Gallo/Forbes
draft pick/free agent/resign JR
Lawsome/Blake

It seems like a lot of people underrate Odom's value...even over on the Orlando board. They just assume because the Lakers want a PG that they are going to give up the guy who (outside of Kobe) has been their most consistent positive contributor. Gasol comes and goes, Artest is fading, Bynum might not be on the floor, but Odom seems to always step up when they ask him to.
Also, Felton is a FA next summer...I doubt they trade Odom for a one year rental.
Orlando fans have suggested Jameer Nelson for Odom straight up, Jameer Nelson+Brandon Bass/Ryan Anderson, and all sorts of similar variations. I don't see LA biting on those either.
If I am LA and really want to extend Kobe's legacy/title runs...I try and trade Bynum+Blake to Golden State for Monta Ellis+Dorrell Wright+Andris Biedrins.
PG Ellis
SG Bryant
SF Artest
PF Odom
C Gasol
Bench: Wright/Barnes/Fisher
Use the MLE or just part of it on a defensive minded big guy like Dalembert and they have a very nice roster.

If we're talking about Dwight trades I would look to try and keep Nene and send Lawson instead.
