Redd - NO. Hes not the same player and gets injured every time he steps on the court
Chandler - YES. I think he fits perfect with this team and has the defensive tenacity to help win now
Crawford - Maybe, but leaning toward Yes if we can sign someone of more significance first
Prince - No, would have been a yes 5 years ago
Butler - Ill pass
Barea - same as Crawford
Ming - NO. Not worth the risk
Battier - No. Hes a good defender and I wouldnt be mad if he signs, but I wouldnt put him as a top priority
JRich - No.
Kirilenko - No
Hill - Only if he can replace Outlaw.

Oh and Hump, please keep Kimmy no talent but makes millions and is a celebrity for no damn reason Kartrashian away from this organization. I dont mind seeing Kris walk anyway, it was a contract year and hes going to get paid, but hes not a starting PF on a true contender.

what are the chances Chandler signs if the Mav win it all, and i agree when chandler and cp3 played it was explosive, so he can deff fit, esp if we sign him and trade lopez to get Dwight (hypothetically speaking) it be hell of a front court

I dont think Chandler leaves the Mavs even if they get swept in the finals, but that doesnt change the fact that I would love to see the Nets sign him. I think Tyson will explore his options, but stay in Dallas in the end. The only thing the Nets have going over the Mavs to entice Chandler to sign here is that the Mavs window of opportunity is closing with so many older players, whereas the Nets are a very young and upcoming team.

I'd absolutely sign Redd, he's only going to get a 1 or 2 year close to vet min deal, like literally $1 mill a season, second year will probably be unguaranteed.

He's a long shot to come back and stay there, but if he could be solid for 25 mpg he could be an outstanding edition.

Oh and with Tyson Chandler, I think he's sort of a double edged sword.

If we stay with Brook he's the picture perfect fit, but if we get Dwight, Nene is the better fit and Nene is also a solid fit with Brook anyway.

They'll probably get similar money.

Agreed. He's not going to get anything more than vet min.

Yes, he would. :D

Grant hill is still one of the best defenders in the league and he won't get more than a 2 year contract and less than 3 mill. I think he is the perfect temporary starter for us. He can also be a good back up. in the future.

I LOVE Grant Hill at SF. I honestly would love for him to be here next season. Efficient scorer? Check. Enough range to spread the defense? Check. Solid defensively? Check. Ball handling? Check. IQ? Check plus. Knows how to win? Check.

I wish we had a link to be able to bring Hill here.

Really? He's only been out of the first round once in his career.

I wouldn't say I'm totally against him, but he's certainly not someone I would enjoy watching in a Nets uniform.

That little article he published on the NY times, after the Fab 5 documentary aired on ESPN really put me at odds with him. He blew up what they said so far out of proportion it was disgusting. For a man who likes to hold himself at such a high level of intellect his reaction to all that was so surprising. It was just such an unnecessary backhanded slap on his part.

He had every right to clear some things out, because I'm sure, LIKE HIM, many people would take it the wrong way. But my oh my, this man got on his high horse of Duke grads, and showed those Michigan thugs what's up!

Grant Hill is awesome, stop hating.

I think it's you (NetsGod) who is overreacting to his NY Times article.
