Letting the Lamppost Illuminate

Sorry if didn't read everything, but just at first look something sounds wrong to me in Kobe's APM stat.
As I don't like black boxes, is there an analysis on line that explains why Kobe's number is so bad, in a quantitative way? As other mentioned the overall outlook of the Lakers is very suspicious.
I read about the colinearity issue, is there a way to weight it?
