I have a question for those who watch overseas from here in NYC. I will be moving to the Netherlands this summer but I still want to watch the Heat play during the season and post-season. How will I be able to watch through TV? Or am I stuck with internet streaming?

Thanks!

Not sure what Dutch TV puts on but you can buy NBA channel through satellite TV. You only get what they show though. Best thing is to get the good version of ILP. Quality is great and you can watch every game.

Really good.

Thank you for your info. Is ILP International League Pass? Do I get this through a local cable company? I definitely want the option of watching every Heat game.

Yeah International league pass. You buy it from NBA.com online. You have two possibilities - take the more expensive as you get as long as you want to watch every game. One problem with being in Europe is the time of the games - not so bad for the early games on a sunday but when we're playing west coast or if you want to check out a west coast team it's early morning here. Quality is great. btw The Netherlands is a great open country to live in and the people are fantastic - speak great English too.

Great! Thanks so much for the help. The Netherlands is a great place, was in Rotterdam for a month last summer, not sure exactly where I will be but it should be fun. Just gotta be able to watch my Heat.

Over the course of two weeks the discussion on realgm has shifted from is Rose > Lebron to is Lebron > MJ

In the battle for Lebron's legacy the haters had built up strong defenses over the last year. In one series perceptions were smashed and the haters are now in full retreat to the more solid ground that is MJ = GOAT.

At least we won't have to read more gushing articles about how these Bulls are better than MJ's.

No, but sadly I think we're going to have to put up with a decade of Rose being overrated. The fact that some people are still comparing him to LeBron after the series he just had tells me all I need to know.

He's somewhere between 5-10 (and at this point, I'm leaning towards the lower half of the top 10) and he'll be pushed as top 2-3 for the next few years, guaranteed. Kinda like how Kobe was usually somewhere in the top 5 and always pushed as #1. I'm telling you, Kobe fans and Rose fans have a LOT in common, and its annoying because Bulls fans used to be great at calling out Kobe fans. But its like all those wonderful arguments they used to back MJ are conveniently forgotten in defense of Rose.

Oh my bad, I forgot, Rose losing in the playoffs this year was like when MJ lost to Detroit... except MJ's teams didn't have HCA and 62 wins... and he didn't shoot sub 40% for the playoffs and get totally dominated by the Pistons individually, with a chance to actually win every game at the end if he actually played halfway decent... yeah.

Have to steal your sig if you don't mind. The Bulls fan with the opposite (Wade/Rose) has always annoyed me.

You guys really need to put some work in your math skills. 15 analyst picked the Heat, 6 picked the Mavs. But yeah, i know, the whole world is against the Heat.

Well, in terms of rooting interest, they are ;) We are more respected as a team this time around which is nice I guess.

meh, who cares. That's something for fanboys and for people without perspective. It's not an interesting topic for writers to write about, it's not interested to read about, it's people doing their Brick Tamblyn impersonations LOUD NOISES DERRICK ROSE LOUD NOISES. If you think Kobe is better, wonderful. If he thinks LeBron is the best, awesome.

You're right, I just like to get caught up in the player debates too much myself though. As dumb as they can get at times, its more fun in basketball for me than a sport like baseball where everything is so cut and dry thanks to the numbers.

Bucher is just the shining example of these types of thinkers. Listening to him on LeBatard, he really seems like those people who are religious zealots or partisan political hacks.

Good way of putting it. And it doesn't help that Bucher has that creepy, plastic televangelist look.
