So....17 games in....how is he looking?
I have him on my fantasy team, and I've seen him in a couple of games...but I don't know the "full" story outside of the boxscores and advanced stats.

Afflalo has improved on both ends of the court going from a very good defender to a guy that should make an all defense team if it was not such a popularity contest, and he is now a good option on offense all over the court, instead of just his spots. If there is one thing I could criticize Afflalo on it would be that he sometimes seems to get sticky fingers and does not pass at times. However that is not a always type thing, more like an occasional half when much of the team is doing the same thing.

MN fan here - What would it take in a sign and trade this summer for MN to get him? J.Flynn. Pekovic, this year's Mem pick, future Utah pick, etc. I'm sure would be in play.

Can't trade the memphis Pick as the draft happens before free agency, The Utah pick is way to protected, Pekovic would be the 5th best center on the roster, and flynn is no where near worth Afflalo. I don't see the Nuggets doing a sign and trade for Afflalo as they want him back and he is restricted, so the offer would have to blow them away.

Personally I am not a fan of Rubio, especially with the year he just had, if the Wolves would take a package around Afflalo + a couple of pieces I would trade him for Love.

7 months later....
I would still LOVE to get this guy in a Bulls uniform...

I'm sure Chicago will offer the full MLE (if there is one under the new CBA)...and I'm sure Denver will match...but you never know...

I would be shocked if the Nuggets don't offer Afflalo more then the MLE immediately after they can begin negotiating.

That would not make sense...they would be overpaying (Denver would have the right to match any offer since Afflalo is a RFA). But I do think Afflalo will be matched right away....and that makes me sad. :(

Take a look at the Kroenke's/Nuggets history with players they like, they give them market value contracts quickly without screwing around and waiting for someone to make an offer, been doing it for years. I will be shocked if it is any different with Afflalo.

Just curious...what if someone took Harrington off your hands in a sign and trade?

They have been pretty good at doing that with players they want to keep.

Nuggets are not in cap trouble, moving Harrington would be okay, but I damn sure would not trade Afflalo to do it.

how about aflallo and harrington for josh smith ?

forget atlanta's side for a sec - i'm intersted in the nuggets' view of such a proposal.

smith would seem like a great fit imo, but give me your takes on this deal ?...

I would probably do it, but I still don't like the idea of adding smith, just due to the Nuggets experience with undersized PFs and injuries.

The question is why would the hawks do this.

Afflalo and Ujiri both expect Afllalo to be back next year.

I've heard one of the first rounders in the NY trade, Resigned JR Smith and Wilson Chandler for Boozer, Deng. Ownership lets Martin walk and resigned Nene.

PG Felton
SG Deng
SF Danilo
PF Boozer
C NENE

You know taking made up rumors from other message boards often leads one to look a little foolish, especially when the trade makes no sense for one of the teams.

So please explain why would the Nuggets do that? They end up with more forwards on a team with plenty of forwards, and take back 2 bad contracts while giving up a 1st round pick. Also your lineup is wrong.

God i really hope we stay competitive while we rebuild.

AA, Ty, Gallo, Nene, Mozgov. Rest I'm not real worried.

Keeping J.R would be nice but i do not believe in a miracle like get ridding of Karl and get us a real coach ! I have completely lost my faith in Karl. I would take Billups as a head coach at this stage.
George Karl !
