Dallas making it to the Finals makes their 4-0 sweep a little easier to swallow. These guys are legit.

They are clicking at the right time, that's for sure. It looks like both the Lakers and Spurs peaked entirely too early.

The Heat vs. Mavs, which I would have never predicted, will be an interesting series. I'm sure Cuban is going to make it a real point to bring up the officiating from the 2006 Finals, and rightfully so. Dirk is going to have to continue his current level of play if they want to pull it off. He disappeared in the 2006 Finals and if he does that again it's going to forever damage his standing among the greats.

That Heat performance in the 4th quarter was scary. If they keep this kind of consistency up, they'll be mighty hard to beat atleast for another 2 seasons.

Regular season award. I think he was deserving, all things considered. There really wasn't a clear cut favorite and he had the best story, and that matters to the voters.

In the strictest sense of what an MVP is, however, it's probably Dwight Howard by a mile or two. Rarely does the voting go by the strictest of definitions though.

Who doesn't hate the Heat outside of Heat/LeBron/Wade fans? When you have a team full of douchebags and a bandwagon fan base that has taken on that same douchebag personality, what the hell is there to like?

There are very few Heat fans (mopper8 is the only one that I can even think of off the top of my head) that show any kind of class, so there should be no surprise that so many other fan bases hate on the Heat so much.

Funnily enough someone tried to sell me and a friend on a trip to Miami in the first week of the season with court side seats costing $4500 a piece.

The Heat will win this series with ease...just watch, LeBron and Wade too close to be denied. All these boards have is guys cheerleading for Dirk to " get his ring", F that you have to earn it. All the sigs for him and threads are flat out disgusting.

It's a lot of HOF guys that never saw the light of day to a title, and you certainly didn't have guys cheerleading for them. Screw Dirk if he want's a ring then be the man for the series. Fact is his teams white horse & carriage is about to turn into a pumpkin. I saw evident signs in their last series that all that hot shooting was a straight up mirage. Yeah Dirk is going well, but his fairy's are slowing down.

Heat in 5......book it.

wow the balls on Lebron are just amazing.....pause!

I mean first he is not even humble about being compared to Jordan as if he already deserves it, then there is that gem that Dirks one legged fadeaway is second most unstopable shot after the KAJ skyhook. was MJs fadeaway stopable? Haslem already punked Dirk in 06 and now Lebron and Haslem will take a shot at it so when they stop Dirk he can claim that he stopped the second most unstable shot? wow!

Haha yea, apparently no one in the NBA knows what humble/being humbled means. "Oh Lebron James was compared to MJ, Lebron James has been humbled"... right

Doubt it. That's too well thought out for LeBron and everyone knows that LeBron speaks and acts without thinking.

If Miami wins this, we'll all be treated to nonstop ball washing of LeBron and his greatness until the Heat get eliminated again. I still remember the 23057203857 replays of LeBron's gamewinner I had to rewatch every damn pre-game two years ago versus Orlando. "Is this one of the biggest shots in NBA History?!" Ugh.
