LoL calm down I know you defending your local boy but he aint in the same class as the people on that list of artists performing he's aight

maybe not yet, but he clearly separates himself from other so called rappers of today's time. he hasnt been around long enough to be considered great but he's got talent. when all's said and done, im a lupe fiasco fan, and i think the message he sends most resembles a message sent by a man named tupac.

Not even close with all due respect because I too like Lupe but nah man 2pac was in a class on his own. I know you werent saying he was as good as Pac but I just want to throw that out there. And as for Wiz nah brah theres a ton of mcs out 2day that are much better than him. **** a couple are performing at this show! ( Crooked I, Royce da 59, Murs, Immortal Tech)

All I needed to see was Lauryn Hill, but the Wu-Tang Clan and Nas brought it over the top.

Wiz shouldn't even be considered a MC considering he sold out on his debut album. Go listen to Prince to the City then his album and tell me he hasn't sold out.

I've went to every Rock the Bells since 07 and i'm definetly going this year. Im a huge Wu Tang fan and for Rae and Ghost to play all of Only Built for Cuban Linx makes it worth it alone. Then you got Blackstar playing their LP which was a classic, Theives of the Night and Definition are prolly in my top 40 favorite songs ever. Then you got Slaughterhouse, Nas, Mobb Deep, and get to hear all of Liquid Swords. How can anyone think this line up is garbage, name another concert where you get all this classic hip hop in one day.

did u get his new album? what did u think? i cant wait till food & liquor part 2

Lupe's album was garbage. Only good songs were Words I Never Said and All Black Everything. All the other songs were what he would call "dumbing it down". Never expected that from Lupe.

The Wu-Tang Clan is like Magic Johnson for me. If I live to be 80, I'm resigned to the fact there's never going to be another hip-hop act or basketball player that I liked more. At least they have an absolutely massive body of work. Including all the solo stuff, there's nine or 10 album's worth of classic material. If I only had to listen to 36 Chambers, Liquid Swords and Supreme Clientele for the rest of my life, I don't think I'd be all that upset with that.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow. I'm buying 6 and will be using 2, going to make money off the remaining 4 to people who wait 'til the last minute to buy tickets. :D

QFT. I can't remember the last time I was so hyped for an album to be so disappointed. I hated every **** track that had MGMT or whatever on there. "I Don't Wanna Care Right Now"? One of the worst tracks I've ever heard Lupe put out. Nothing redeeming about that whatsoever.

Yeah... Lupe still picked the tracks... I mean he was upset he didn't get Nothin' On You and that really blended in with all the pop-ness on that album.

Err... I read it wrong, it went on sale today for the Boost Mobile pre-sales. Anyone going VIP? I'm thinking about it, because it included a meet-n-greet, and I would love to meet Nas and Lauryn Hill.

Coachella 2012 tickets also go on sale in 2 days, and the festival will span over 2 weekends. They'll have a payment plan option.... :D

You ever go? VIP wasn't worth it when I went. Does it say who the meet and greet is with? Not everyone

Those were just my personal top three. You could pick from about 10 different albums and not be wrong. Iron Man is damn close. So are the two Fish Scale albums. When they first broke out, I never would have guessed that Ghostface would end up being their most productive member.

I don't recognize any of those names. I wish they'd come up with a better lineup, like: Run DMC, 2 Live Crew, Naughty by Nature.. then maybe I'll go :D
