Thanks and Farewell, Big Guy (Shaq Retires)

To me, he was always a likeable kid in a big man's body.

Good luck in retirement, Shaq.

Racist.

Sometimes he was the likeable big kid, and sometimes he was the bully. Overall, he was good for the game and had a phenominal amazing career.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Definitely the end of an era. Maybe he can replace Bill Walton as a commentator :)

Dawkins shattered a backboard twice, before they switched to shatterproof material. I don't recall him ever pulling one down. I remember Barkley and Shaq doing it, and whichever was second, it was said that it had only been done one other time, but that was pre-Darvin Ham, who seems an odd addition to that list.

I remember Haywood positioning outside the circle for a jump ball, and Shaq coming up and physically moving him from his spot with ease prior to the jump, as Haywood futilely looks to the refs for relief. Shaq made big centers look small.
