Surely you jest. I think both sides balk at this.

I got something more realistic:

Evans + #7 for Harris + #3

No reason for each team will get this thread locked.

And evans+ 7 for harris + 3 is not close.

I would guess that evans and 7 for harris and 3 is more realistic but no need for this to be locked straight up.

I wouldn't trade Tyreke Evans for the #1 pick in this draft.

Even with injuries Evan has more value than any player in the upcoming draft. He has already proved he can play at a really high level.

Right, its hard to trade a known quantity for a question mark. Better the devil you know... Tyreke is pretty much the antithesis of Jazz ball though, and a much better fit in Sacramento. This trade idea is just ill conceived.

Agreed that tyrek is the antithesis of Jazz ball. They could use a SG but Tyreke may not be the right target.

ANY TRADE WITH A DRAFT PICK(S) BEING THE PRIMARY RETURN FOR TYREKE EVANS OR DEMARCUS COUSINS IS AN AUTOMATIC FAIL!

We do not want to trade Reke and the 2nd trade is even worse. We do not want Harris.

why? both Irving and Williams will have probably much better NBA careers than Evans. Seriously i dont get that admiration for him, he is combo guard with average play making skills and with no distance shoot.

^^evans is a 6"6 combo guard that can play lockdown defense at the pg or sg spot, while having the ability to take anyone off the dribble. He also is a solid play maker and a fantastic rebounder. He has his issues but i can tell you the guy has more potential than anyone in this draft. Irving at best is a top 10 pg with a very limited shot at being top 5. Williams while good will struggle to translate in the same way that beasley does too big to keep up with the majority of sf's and too small to hold position against the majority of pf's.

Probably? Well, 20,5, and 5 rookie year certainly puts him way ahead of both already. I concur with the idea that the Kings wouldn't and shouldn't trade Evans for ANY pick in this draft. Not until they can see what he does in his third year. He was injured all last year and the trio of Evans, Thornton, and Cousins is too promising to pass up until it's known for sure what they will be.

Lol, not to mention Tyreke is leaving utah ASAP.

He's one of my favorite non-jazz players, but I gave up on the hope of him on the Jazz a long time ago. I'll take Derrick Favors though!

The only way for Jazz to get Evans would have been to trade Dwill for him. They probably didn't want tyreke anways, and they certainly won't get him with any players or picks they have now.

Sounds like Wade when he came into the NBA to me
