Kurt Thomas might retire isn't he like 37, 38 yrs old. Foster is the best option its just depends how much he wants I can't see him getting more than 2m per yr from anyone.

Bulls did better than us this season and Kurt Thomas got a lot of minutes with either Booz or Noah down half the season.

There's really no reason for him to come to LA.

^^^I say we go after Kurt Thomas, I wanted him last year and sure enough dude was big impact on Chi during Boozer/Noah absence. He still got some left in the tank, Chi barely used him after Noah/Boozer were together again. Dude was actually a better pressence then Noah during his short stint at C, he help spread the floor much better for Rose to drive and held his on on D.

Haven't you learned anything from us having two fossils play the bench all year.

They could use a spread 4 that can play decent defense. They could also use a smaller C with a mid-range game.

Kurt Thomas would help. He's not quite done. Rashard Lewis would be great too as a spread 4.

Ironically, LA's strength (lenght and size) is also it's greatest weakness because of their big men's durability, health, and ineffectiveness of the bench. Kwame's playing in a way MJ expected him to be, kinda of a late bloomer Brown is. Having him back plus Ronnie and we're talking 2+ championships here.

Unfortunately, the Knicks are really thin upfront and I don't see them giving up Turiaf. As for Kwame:

ahah kwame brown, wow. What's this non-sense about him being a decent defender. Please he only plays about 2-3 games a year with decent d. I can't remember how many times he would gamble on d.

I wanted to bump this thread, because I've really been thinking about this. I think we absolutely need a big - Almost as much as we need a quality point guard. If you think about the reason why we lost, it was because we ran Pau completely into the ground physically and mentally. Ratliff was a complete and utter bust. Odom and Gasol had to deal with Bynum's injuries, as well as his suspensions (this year and past years). I'm really not sure about who would be best for us, but it's definitely going to be difficult to find someone cheap.
