I think Knight is going to fall to us.

I think the Jazz are going to come to their senses and take Kanter at 3 which leaves the Cavaliers taking a big man at 4 (Val, Vesely, BB).....and knight falls into papa's lap.

If BC is serious about defense (he appears to be with his talk in recent interviews about getting a 5 that will rebound/protect the rim, as well as with regards to his talk of a defensive emphasis in this coaching replacement), I would have to think that either drafting Bismack or signing DeAndre Jordan has to be something he's seriously considering, unless if he's far and away overwhelmed by the upside in one of Kanter/Knight/Valanciunas/Walker with our pick.

My personal list:

1. Irving (Gone by #5)
2. Williams (Gone by #5)
3. Biyombo
4. Kemba
5. Kwahi
6. Knight
7. J-Val
8. Kanter
9. Vesley

- I'm higher on Bayless than most
- I want defense before I want scoring
- I take Kemba over Knight by a smidge
- I'm not a Kanter fan. At all.

I'd be happy with any of the first 7. If I were BC, I'd try and get Williams first and foremost without giving up too much. He's a perfect fit for us and I believe he is a 3. If that doesn't work, I try and move down two or three spots and get more assets. One of Kemba/Knight/Kwahi/Biyombo will be there at 7, why not try and move down to 7, get one of those guys, and pick up an asset like Casspi?

Yep. Not sure we have enough money to sign Jordan without getting rid of somebody, but I'd love it if we signed him or drafted Biyombo. Perfect scenario.

Gonna have to disagree with you about Bismack; the move on Jay Triano shows that BC is all about business now; he wants to win now. Yes he wants someone who can defend the paint, but Bismack is too much of a project; I suspect he will either try to grab one of the FAs like DeAndrea Jordan (yes) or Sammy Dalembert. Cs take a very long time to develop in the NBA. I also won't be surprised if we traded our pick to either move up to Minny's spot for more talent, or trade down for more established players. If we stay, then probably Kemba or Knight.

the kid needs to get stronger and work on his shot, but there's a certainly fluidity which he plays with which makes it seem like he's going to be very good.

Cool, so Kanter in Chicago Monday, and then full blown workout sessions here beginning Tuesday. Then off to the Eurocamp on June 11, before coming back for more workouts. Plus a coaching, and potential GM hire. Should be an exciting few weeks here in Raptorland. I hope having more exciting offseasons than regular seasons doesn't remain a permanent fixture for us.

I wonder who is going to fall out of the draft that could be worth a look. I see that DX has Corey Joesph as the last pick in the 2011 draft and if he falls completely out of it he would be a great look as a undrafted look same thing with Vernon Macklin. The guy reminds me a more athletic Jason Maxiell and at 6'11 and 244 he looks like he has good size and is worth a gamble just curious where both of those guys go in the draft.

I'm thinking Justin Holiday could slip right out. He's got a great defensive rep and measured out really well.

Yeah I think we'd have a good chance of signing Joseph if he went undrafted. I see him getting his name called though

yeah Justin Holiday would be quality sleeper pick as a undrafted FA. I mean he looks like a solid defender and a solid 3 point shooter something Toronto needs badly. If we could get either one of Justin Holiday, Macklin or Joseph as a undrafted FA or get 2/3 + one of Bismack Biyombo, Enes Kanter or Kimba Walker, Brendon Knight I would happy as hell, I am not saying Macklin is a star or sure fire NBA starter or anything more then a prospect....yet but I love his game (mainly cause I am a huge Gator fan) and thing given the proper guidance and coaching he could be a good sleeper pick.

He runs the floor quite well for a big man and is a great finisher in traffic and a good rebounder and shotblocker.

Macklin's feet and length make him worth a shot, his sprint result was crazy. #2 out of everybody? A hair faster than Brandon Knight?
