Coach turned back into a pumpkin, I told those fool Mavs fans on the GB I saw signs of deterioration in their role guys. What they did to us was not reality.

That's not a nice thing to say about Jim Carrey. :(

That's because we weren't defending them worth a damn. They got wide open shots from the outside because we were busy crowding the paint (against a team of shooters...?), and what compounded the problem was that we couldn't hit shots to save our lives. If we shot even 35% from downtown in that series it would have been a totally different story given how close most of the games were.

Anyway, I think the Mavs are screwed. Even if Dirk starts going nutty it's not going to matter as long as the Heat shut everyone else down.

I don't see how any team will be able to beat the Heat 4 times in a 7 game series for the next 3-4 years.

No it's not 8-)

But yeah, Miami is going to have a stranglehold on the EC for the foreseeable future. At least we'll no longer be the most hated fanbase.

Woj says Rubio is finally going to come over to the NBA. For Minnys sake he better not turn out to be a bust.

Never been much of a fan of Rubio. Finally get to see if he's worth all that hype. But from what I hear, he's coming off his worst season in Europe.

He looks to be quite injury prone the past few seasons, and he'll be 33 by the time next years playoffs start.

I really don't think he addresses our major needs (shooters have to be a priority, IMO), but I'd replace him with Brown in a damn hurry if he'd be willing to accept a role off the bench for next to nothing. He wouldn't work at all in our starting lineup, but he'd be the scoring threat that we lack off the bench behind Kobe, that's for damn sure.

Well, I was actually thinking he would back up Kobe. He would have a chance to play for ring. Lakers need a shooter he is one of the best out there. He isn't as good as used to be on defense. But then again he may end going NYC to play with Chauncey behind Fields. Dantoni would love dude. Gordon would be better but something tells me if anyone is headed out of Detroit its gonna be rip.

I fell in love with his game during the Olympics. However he could have been good simply because Spain had a lot of offensive weapons. Kobe and Wade guarded him that was the only time I seen him struggle a bit. When Paul or Kidd guarded him he didn't seem to phased. He couldn't stay in front of Wade but he held his own with anyone else besides Kobe & Williams.

If he is on a team with a a lot of offensive weapons I can imagine he will flourish. Since he is on the Wolves I don't see him becoming stud right from the start. He may just get frustrated being on such a team. Its like if Rondo was playing for Kings or Golden State would he really be that good?

The king might not like it but Wade's going to win the finals MVP if the Heat win this.

Why is Terry guarding Wade. His eyes bulge out of his head every time he sees Terry on him.
