Kaponen, Agree, your guys are more valuable. I think Anthony is the better role player, even though Blair is a more well rounded player and better potential starter. Anthony's defense and shot blocking are a need for each of outr teams. I see him like a Korver in terms of being a rare specialist with his quickness.

Lou and brooks I don't care about. But Jameer is clearly better than either of my guards.

I might consider something with Gordon and Bosh if I can move Mayo in another deal and get a decent PF in return for him.

I won't be available at a computer until tomorrow, but koponen...if you have interest in Splitter, I'd be up for a deal involving Blair. Like I said though, we'll discuss more tomorrow when I have a computer instead of a phone.

Althogh I has interest in Bron...I'm sure it would take hell to move, lol.

Bledsoe - bulls.

I'd advise you guys to start your write ups for your teams. Must be done Sunday at 11:59 PM.

PK5, did you see my comment in the juges thread?

I said we should change the "Future" wording so that it is not simply "5 years from now", but how well a team has positioned itself to either attain or sustain success over the next 5 years. I went into greater detail in the other thread. But basically this allows the future scoring to apply to all teams, and not simply the young ones.

If you have a team that is positioned to peak in 1-2 years and still be good over 3-4 years you should still get credit for building a long term winner just as much as someone who has everyone under age 26. The teams that get a low score would be teams with unbalance rosters where every big or every guard is older and they have no replacements on the roster or whose replacements will never be starting quality players.

Both our teams have guys who should be ready to step up as the older guys fade. But looking only 5 years from now is a really distant horizon that only applies to the youngest players. Joe Johnson, Pau and KG all will be faded in 5 years. But each has a much different "future" in that JJ and Pau will be successful for 3-4 years, while KG is at his end.

Koponen wrote:If I don't make any more moves, I could actually plug in Batum at the 2- he's capable of guarding opposing SGs and has a great stroke. Here's how I see my minutes working out right now:

PG: Nelson(28), Ridnour(20)
SG: Batum(22), L. Williams(26)
SF: Green(30), Batum(4)
PF: Love(32), Blair(16)
C: Gortat(28), Krstic(14), Love(6)

I'd be pretty happy with that because each of the 9 guys who would get time would be very solid NBA players. What I dislike most, I'd say, is that Blair and Krstic don't really get enough minutes. Would anyone be interested in taking on Blair and Krstic for a player who can get minutes at both the 4 and 5?

That's pretty solid. Let me know either way.

I'm good. If I do make a move it would be for a 2 so Jeff Green can come off the bench. Otherwise, I'm set.

I think I'm actuay pretty set. I'd offer Jeff Green and Nelson for Manu, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

Good question  I was thinking something with Amir Johnson, but then I'd be weak at backup PF.

Julian Wright?
